This stomp has become an essential part of my set. I use it as long as my ankle holds out. I have to try not to use it on every song. I'm a solo/folk/singersong writer. To set this puppy up on your mixer I recommend turning the highs and mids all the way off, and boost the low to max. Then refine it from there, if you need to. You might need to give a touch of gain/trim depending on your mixer pre amps. Add just a touch of reverb to the channel. It sounds like a bass drum. It sounds better than a bass drum! Just remember when you start the beat make sure you keep it going. You'll notice people tapping their feet, you might even get dancers. That's been my experience. This is an excellent little product. It's sturdy. Solid. You're going to want to have it on a rug, because even with the rubber bottom it still will scoot a bit as you use it. As you can see from my photo, mine is getting used. If you need some footstompin' in your set this is the product to get.

Its ok sounding, but you have to hit it just right to get a decent bass drum sound. when you are playing and singing live , it's a bit much to have to hunt for a tone on this thing . I missed the return by date unfortunately, so im planning to sell it used. Im sure some will find that it does the trick. Caveat Emptor.

It sounds awesome if you know how to make it sound awesome. Right out the box plug it into some little amp and you're gonna be disappointed. (though that's probably overkill and a simple EQ would serve the same purpose) I got it running through a Tech 21 SansAmp Para Driver DI, leaning into the bass EQ as much as possible. than it goes from there to the mixer board with with boosted bass and totally elminated high end. Now you have a good pumping signal. But without large diameter speakers you're not going to capture that real kick drum feel. I'm using two Peavey PV115 15'' speakers. Even then it makes a big difference where you hit and what's on you're feet when you do. There's gotta be something else out there that's better... but all in all I'm happy with mine.

This thing sounds about as good you tapping a $30 microphone with your hand. The piezo mic sounds like your knocking on a door. It also slips around a lot. For this thing to sound any good you have to cut the highs completely, raise the base to near max and raise the low midrange on an EQ to get any decent sound. It’s not worth it at all. The only positive is it’s sturdy and the wood is nice.

I like the way it sounds. I have had other wood blocks, this one rates with the best.

The box is well made, looks pretty, but it sounds like stomping on a a thin floor but with less low end. Not worth it.

I love this thing! It sounds just like a bass drum with the proper eq! The build quality is great, too!

My first Stomp. I'm using it with my multi channel loop station. It's on one channel with the bass guitar, dry sound. It's great for orchestral latin soundscapes. I prefer it to a sampled bassdrum with its natural sound. Unfortunately it does depend on the shoes I am wearing. I really like that it doesn't require any batteries.

Only one sound. If your looking for more you will be disappointed. I wish I bought the more expensive one with more options. But it works good for one it is. One sound stomp

Ottima stompbox, elegante dal sound ottimo

音質的には板にピエゾピックアップを貼り付けた物を叩いているのと変わらない音色でした。自作で作ったStompの方が未だ低音が出ていて良かったです。
