This roll was perfect for making a custom catio top. It seems surprisingly well through my sewing machine, using a UV rated polyester thread. Grommets were easily added, and I reinforced each grommet with some sticking.Coloring matches our coolaroo pet beds perfectly.

Keeps rain from beating our garden plants down! Keeps the Sun from burning the plants up! We used to cover over two garden beds!!

Gives great privacy, while providing sunblock.

The weave and durability seem to be good, the color is as pictured.

I live in Central Florida. I used Coolaroo to protect my orchids in the orchid house AND on our back patio. I couldn't be happier with it's performance. Even though the roof is a UV protective polycarbonate, by itself, the PC was not enough protection for even my Cattleyas who require high amounts of light. I solved the problem with Coolaroo which not only blocks out harmful UV rays but also lowers the temp to some degree in the orchid house. It's wonderful! Goes up easily as well. To be honest, we just stapled it up. I used the color "Sandstone" so you can't even see the staples! It stretched out nice and flat and very much looks like a professional job. Awesome stuff. It's been up for now over a year and has not stretched or sagged.Because it worked so well for that application, I also put it up over a covered patio to block out the sun. It was a patio that no one ever used because of the sun and heat! That's certainly a thing of the past! Now...the patio looks beautiful, stays cooler and no more harsh sun! Put it up the same way. Again, you can barely see the staples. My husband put thin strips of trim that he purchased from Home Depot over the staple lines and it looks awesome!I have some left over so now my husband wants to build a pergola out by the water! It's a fantastic solution to those outdoor living spaces that go unused because of the sun and heat!

We use this fabric over a back deck, installed over a deck cover framework made of vertical 1" x 12" beams spaced about a foot apart. No, this fabric won't filter as much sunlight as a solid patio cover, but I personally enjoy some filtered sunlight on our deck (for plants and such) and also being able to actually see a little bit of the sky and clouds through it. Also, given how inexpensive it is compared to the construction of a solid cover, it's great! It also holds up extremely well to even the worst Colorado weather conditions ... including brutal sunlight, extremely low humidity, hail and even having snow piled high on it for days without tearing or permanent warping. It's also relatively easy to install and, if past experience is any indication (this purchase was a replacement of a previous one), it lasts for YEARS! The last installation lasted about 6 years and we only replaced it because a house painter accidentally damaged a section recently when he accidentally put a foot through it! My only caveat (and it's our fault) is that, if we had it to do again, we would have purchased the higher density fabric (Coolaroo comes in a couple of densities, and we thought we were purchasing the same one we'd had previously) so it would filter a little more, but we still love it!

I absolutely Love this and 2nd roll I have purchased, Super Strong, doesn't tear and keeps heat out, amazing material I used above my Pergola and then loved so much purchased 2nd roll and put above my porch which even at 110 it kept it so much cooler. Then I got this Great idea I need something to put behind my bamboo fence, because you could see threw fence so I attached this material with zip ties so you couldn't see threw bamboo fence I wasn't sure if that would hold up with our winds, but so far lasted Great through last winter and doesn't mildew or mold and easy to cut with just scissors. I would definitely suggest this product for lot's of different project's.

DH made a dog run that is covered top and sides with this shade fabric. It gets loaded with autumn leaves on top, but they are easily removed with 2 minutes of leaf blower use from inside the run. Squirrels climb the sides and scamper across the top without causing pulls or holes in the fabric.The Coolaroo sides and top roll up for the winter, as the dog run designer believes that heavy snow might bend the Schedule 4 PVC pipe frame. I believe the shade cloth would survive a load of heavy snow just fine, however.We used the special clips made for shade cloth along the edges. These clips hold short bungee cords which are then wrapped around the PVC pipe.During a nasty storm last month - one that put a big tree branch through the roof of the house, knocked over a heavy glass patio table and moved the umbrella out onto the lawn - the Coolaroo-covered dog run remained intact. We are very pleased with the quality and appearance of this outdoor fabric.

We bought 4 rolls 12x50". Attached it 12 feet up on the sides of our arena. Keeps snow and wind out of the arena. A wonderful addition to our arena which has no sides. Gives us privacy from neighbors and lets light in. Highly recommend this product.

The shade cloth delivered to me looks more like a curtain rod. I used it in the kitchen window to hold curtains. I sure wish l had some shade cloth.

This an excellent value for the money. The 12 foot width is not easy to handle for the average person. I would choose a darker colour if it needs replacing. It is a good product with a lot of applications.
