Leather crossbody bag messenger satchel tablet bag 11 inch for men and women (Distressed Tan Pocket)

I’m not generally inclined to write reviews, but this bag is awesome——especially for the price. It’s well constructed, with one un-trimmed piece of thread on one zipper; (a minor quality control issue easily solved by trimming the thread). All of the straps are securely attached with rivets, the stitching is good, the leather is real ( not fake, vinyl, pleather, vegan…whatever…). Multiple internal compartments (4 inside and one each, outside front and back). Big enough to hold an iPad, wallet phone, keys…few other things, but not too big. I have bags that cost, easily, twice this and are not much better—if at all, really. Very nicely done. 5 thumbs-up.

Updated review:Here I am, almost 5 years after my original purchase. My original bag still works, but has been abused to the point I fear the shoulder strap will eventually break where it was mistakenly cut at some point. I said I would be back, and I can’t be more grateful that this bag is still being manufactured with some wonderful updates to the design. I LOVE the addition of strong, sturdy metal clip style buckles that can be used in conjunction with the standard buckles. The straps are also slightly shorter which leads to a much cleaner look than the original. My ONLY complaint is that I must wait for it to break in once more, but I know, without a doubt, I will be back in another few years to replace this daily staple! Pictures of the old and new bags have been added so you can truly appreciate just how gorgeous this bag will become once it begins to soften with regular use. It’s hard to believe this is actually the same bag, but I promise you will not regret investing in such a beautiful and practical bag.Original review:First of all, I want to thank Komal's Passion Leather for one of the best unpackaging experiences of my life. From the moment you first open the box, you know that this seller truly cares about their product. The leather satchel I purchased was much more protected than I would have imagined. The bag was inside of another small drawstring satchel made of a beautifully printed material which was inside of another clear plastic bag which in turn was taped securely around its contents.Unpacking Experience:When I removed the leather satchel from the drawstring satchel, my first impression was that it is, for once, everything it was advertised to be and more. Not to mention, every piece of ANY clasp that could have potentially damaged the leather in transit was very well covered by cellophane and/or thin packaging foam. Beyond that, the protection was still VERY easy to remove. It took just a few minutes to pull the protective materials from no less than 7 places on the bag. The level of care taken in preparing this bag for shipment and safe arrival is phenomenal!But wait! It gets better! Above and beyond that, there is a "Thank you" letter and care instructions on a piece of beautiful raw paper that was hand signed by Komal. The contents of the letter not only thank you for the purchase but go into the process taken to naturally cure and prepare the product. This bag is "100% handmade from genuine unprocessed leather and is tanned using traditional Sun tanning process and vegetable oils. No chemicals are used during the making of this bag."The Bag Itself:The bag is breathtaking! It has 2 outside zippered pockets on the front and back as deep as the bag itself, 1 buckle pocket on the front middle, an interior zippered pocket (again, as deep as the bag itself, and 3 sections on the interior of the bag. One of these last 3 pockets is almost the entire depth of the bag. (This is the pocket where my 10.5 inch iPad Pro will likely call home, though one of the two thinner spots may work as well if you do not have a case on yours.) The other 2 pockets are great for papers, thinner wallets, your cell phone, a small notepad if needed, maybe to hold a few pens??There is still plenty of room after placing my iPad into the satchel to allow for my basic needs. I can easily still fit my glasses case, my apple pencil case, my wallet, phone, and other daily wants and needs within this bag without overfilling it. I will be carrying this bag for many years to come. The amount of thought taken to fully maximize this bags potential through the creation process is rare to find these days. The stitching is perfect on every seam (Trust me, I looked. I was sure something HAD to be wrong somewhere.). I have no doubt that this bag will last me for many many years and grow more beautiful with each passing season as it ages. I may have received this at a reduced price, but having this in hand I would have happily paid the original asking price or MORE for a bag of this quality.In closing, if and when I decide I need to replace this satchel, upgrade to a larger one, or just want some variety in my life, I will likely search for Komal's Passion Leather first. I love this bag. No, really. I LOVE this bag. Just the right size, well-crafted and well-designed. I am a college professor that needed to take a handful of small items to class each day, and this is just the ticket. I almost didn't pull the trigger because of other reviewers that complained about the smell. So glad that I did not listen to them. Yes, there is a smell. It is the smell of natural leather. It is glorious. When I was in high school, I used to work for a neighbor who owned a leather tanning company. I know what leather smells like and what chemicals smell like. It is refreshing to smell real leather again after all these years.The workmanship and packing was excellent. You can tell that they really take pride in their products. I am going over their website now to see if I can find other bags that will fit a need, because I really love this one. Don't hesitate. Pull the trigger. You won't be sorry.

This is just wide enough and just tall enough that it will also hold your Surface Pro (see picture - top sticks out a tiny bit but the flap can easily accommodate). It will not fit your 13” iPad with keyboard. It is gorgeous. It is incredibly well wrapped. The front clasps are actual clasps, not magnets. They are smooth and easy to open, even one-handed. It doesn’t have separate slots for pens but if you have a clip you can just attach them inside the two pockets shown. In addition to effectively three sections inside the bag there are three zippered areas, the little pocket on the front and inside and on the back. The shoulder strap has plenty of room but there is also a little strap to tuck the extra in so it doesn’t flap around. This is a terrific bag and insanely good value at this price.

Product came as advertised. I really wanted a leather haversack, but this as close of a product as i could find that had a buckle closure. For the size, quality and price its ok. Its a little small, wanted bigger but again its as close of a product as possible to what I was looking for. Very portable for traveling.

Bought this to match a cosplay (as a brightly colored bag doesn't make sense with a World of Warcraft cosplay) I will eventually make. Looks nice and is really really nice quality. It's probably the best quality bag I currently own and I have about 7 bags/minibackpacks at the moment. I had my dad look at it as well and my dad is one of those people who can look at leather and fake leather and tell you how good the quality is. Both of us agree that the quality is really nice. It will fit my 11" tablet so it's got a decent amount of space. It's clearly crafted with care. 100% worth the price. Honestly even if it was a little pricier I think it would still be worth it. I recommend it if you need a nice bag.

Real full grain leather. Thoughtful pockets pockets pockets. No exposed zippers(one on back, hidden when against body) for an old school look.

When I first received the satchel, it was very well packaged. I loved the rustic design and the bag is very well-made and durable but it was as stiff as a board, and the buckles didn’t align and lie flat. I wasn’t overly impressed. My husband and I took turns(as we watched TV for an hour) kneading and rolling the bag. It is now soft and flexible and the buckles lie flat and line up properly. I love the bag! It is exactly what I was, hoping for, big enough to hold a lot of the things I need for traveling, but not too big. It will hold two kindles, my phone, my sunglasses, passports, wet wipes and the list goes on and on. The design of this satchel is appropriate for both men and women, and I highly recommend it!

I have had this bag for a little while now. As with lots of leather products like this, they get better with time, this bag is no exception. The cover flap and back has become very supple and I like it. The overall structure, stitching etc has remained perfect. All zips and buckle and catch are still fine.I use this bag everyday, it carries my wallet, phone, medication and lots of assorted rubbish.Finally, don't think the "Hangover" movie won't ever be mentioned by some younger people. My work colleagues took great delight in this as I happen to also look a bit like this character, which I find hilarious, the hair, the beard, the mannerisms, the belly. I turned up to work in the aviator glasses one day, on purpose, the place nearly erupted.This bag might change your life
