I've tried many many other brands of Maracuja oil and this is the only one that delivers the amazing effects I get from it. I got this originally in a sample size in my Ipsy bag and fell in love. My redness that I've struggled with for so, so long in my T zone has finally subsided thanks to this miracle worker. After the bottle was empty I checked the price for a full size and wanted to try the less expensive brands before spending those sweet dollars. Although the other brands had the same exact ingredients, for some reason this is the only one that really works for my skin. I'm not sure why but I'm not complaining. This is my HG and I will purchase this for as long as it's available. I hope this stays around for a long, long time!Edit for more information: I have combination oily/sensitive skin. Since beginning an AB routine as well as using this oil, I can say my oiliness has really, really subsided and I am almost at a normal skin type because of the products I use. I've used Tarte Maracuja oil for years and normally order from a seller on Amazon weeks before my current bottle runs out, so that I never personally run out. We have no supply stores that sell this within a 70 mile radius so online is my method. However, this bottle was...off...from the opening. The packaging was flimsy, old/used feeling in texture, there was no hygienic safety on the package anywhere, the first time I pulled product into the dropper neck, it oozed out and was not the same thicker consistency that this product has been in every other bottle I've ever purchased. The color of the product is off, lighter and more yellow than the regular richer light amber color it is normally. The smell is also off in that this bottle's product smells sweeter than it usually smells. When raising the bottle to the light to see into it, there was noticed some sediment on the bottom of the bottle, inside of the product. When shaken, it mixes in with the liquid part of the product making a murky looking liquid with swirls of sediment as well. I will not put this on my face nor will I be buying from this seller again. By the time I needed the unopened bottle, I was past the return date and that is my mistake. The product though, this time, was tossed along with the money I paid for it. A lesson learned, I guess.

I LOVE this oil, but not the specific one I received. The oil had a smell similar to when oil turns rancid or old. Had same viscosity but definitely was not a fresh batch or product unfortunately. I’ll try one last time otherwise it’s back to Macy’s to purchase it.That being said, the oil is a life saver! Im perimenopause and hypothyroid so to say my skin has changed between my late 40s to now at 53 is an understatement. Nothing has worked to moisturize until I received a sample of this from Macys and it worked miracles! Soft, highly moisturizing supple and glowing skin again! I’m hooked! It absorbs in approximately ten min for me and stays that way all day long! I highly recommend (aside from getting a bad bottle!).

None of the Stars apply to the product but definitely five stars. I get severe dry skin during the changes of the seasons. The maracuja oil that I usually order from tarte it takes a while to get to me. I ordered this new formula from Amazon made by tarte. It was here in 2 days and I ordered the new formula which I like more it doesn't have a scent but it does almost like faint hint refreshing citrus. And my skin feels oh so good
