I liked the overall cool look of the helmet while on display in my home. Good quality for the price. Sturdy 18 gauge steel construction. Adjustable leather liner is very useful and easy to use. Would give 5 stars but it came with a small dent in the front but that gives it character. Good deal for the money.

Item needed to be re-polished.

The craftsmanship is poor. The crest is not centered there are several dents from where it looks like it was knocked around the wearhouse. I used some “Neverdull” on it and it polished to a pretty good shine. To display on a shelf it served its purpose. If I was going to wear it or use it in an reenactment I would buy a better quality piece.

I bought this helmet thinking it was gonna be about 1/3 of the size it actually is so I purchased a stand which clearl wasn’t going to fit where I was displaying my helmet. The helmet barely fit in a 15” space without a stand. I am happy with the helmet and glad I made the purchase. It did come very oily andi just wiped it in with a towel!!
