(BFE2 Elliptical Trainer Machine, Cardio Workout Crosstrainer Exercising Machines for Home Gym with 275lb Weight Capacity, Red

I ordered this & set it up, which was no small feat since the box it came in was huge & the machine itself is very heavy. During the first workout, I noticed that the console was not calibrated correctly. I contacted amazon & they referred me to the manufacturer. I explained to them that I have used numerous ellipticals & that a normal elliptical would show that I was going about 6mph & that in 20 minutes I burned about 200 calories. Their machine showed I was going an average of 15mph & I only burned 53 calories in 20 minutes. I also stated that my fitbit showed that I had burned 183 calories during that workout & that it normally showed less calories burned than any elliptical I use. They completely ignored everything I said except the fact that I had a fitbit. They basically said I had no clue what I was talking about & that ellipticals were calibrated like bikes, not treadmills. They were extremely rude, condescending, & treated me like an idiot.Now a little about my background....I am an avid elliptical user. I have easily used over 450 different ellipticals in the last 25 years....so I know what's normal for me. I've even used another one of these machines in a local store before I purchased it on Amazon, & it was calibrated correctly. For them to treat me like an imbecile really pissed me off. On my next workout, the left side of the machine started thumping. I wasn't about to try to deal with the manufacturer again, so it was returned (which was a huge pain getting it back in the box). This manufacturer sticks by their product....even when its wrong. The problem is that they don't stick by their warranty & will make any excuse to not fix customer issues.

The product has a continuous squeaking sound with use. The company had a service technician out to look at it, and he was unable to repair the issue. Amazon issued us a discount on the product, but it is still way too expensive for the amount of noise it makes. It is sturdy, however the "arms" of the machine can be difficult to reach and use comfortably if you are on the petite side.

Stepper is very sturdy, tedious to put together but not complicated. After much research on-line chose center drive machine - it is very quiet, console pretty user friendly, really like this machine

easy to assemble , central drive machine is much more comfortable and enjoyable to use than a typical elliptical machine. Highly Recommended

Awesome machine!

The media could not be loaded.  Fairly easy to set up, took less than 2 hours, closer to 1. I did it by myself.Worked awesome for 3 months. Then it developed a "thunk" noise when the left foot reached the lowest part of the rotation. See the video. For reference, that's the side where the resistance motor is housed. I did standard lubrication and some YouTube investigation, no luck. The "thunk" got so loud the machine because unusable.So I called the manufacturer. After 60 days of back-and-forth, they said they'd send a tech to repair it. They requested the serial number, which I sent (see photo). So, somehow, this machine came brand new from Amazon with a serial sticker for a GSR10, rather than a BFE2. It's definitely a BFE2. I don't own any GSR10, don't even know what that it (looks like some kind of ball rack when I Google it). Just weird.AND now, because the serial number sticker is incorrect, and regardless of the fact that I have a receipt and pictures of the unit, the manufacturer won't provide service. So when the other reviewers say that the manufacturer does not support their product, it's definitely true. This machine is pretty great out of the box, but it won't last and your warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on...you will not get any meaningful support and you'll own a $1500 pile of trash.UPDATE: The manufacturer circled back. I just received a replacement. Sometimes service isn't perfect, sometimes people aren't perfect. It took a minute but Body Solid / Best Fitness made it right and I gotta say I'm pretty happy about it. I will update this posting is any new issue arise, but for now I'm changing my rating to 4 stars.

I have been using this for several years - excellent machine. This is a simple, magnetic resistance unit that lasts!
