Container Gardening: A Complete Beginner's Guide to Growing Vegetables, Fruits, Herbs, and Edible Flowers in Tubes, Pot, and Other Containers

Not very useful resource.
I'm beginning to venture into planting a container garden on my roof-top deck and was hoping for more insight in to soil mixtures, watering guidelines, etc., but this book failed to answer any of those topics except for in very rudimentary means. I'm hoping to find a better resource than what this turned out to be. Simple read, though, read it within an hour.

Sample pictures would have helped.
The cover the same as pictured, but there are no pictures in the book. Directions (in large fonts) on how to create and use a container for vegetables, herbs etc. Not what I expected but it will do for now.

Bought a pamphlet at a book price
Just an overview of plants that do well in containers without actual planting and cultivating directions. No photos, no illustrations. Don't bother with this "book".

Small & Tiny book and I expected more.
I was disappointed with this book. It was THIN, tiny and was not at all what I thought it would be in the on-line description. There are other titles that would be better options. Skip this one. It is double spaced type. Probably to extend the number of pages for the book.

Same info
This book is a good read for you if you haven't already read about container planting before. I found the material is what is covered in all books about container planting.

Shocking and disappointed And this is an understatement
I was surprised to receive this childlike book Which was printed by Amazon. After having a lovely colourful cover I did expect some illustrations But there is none. The print is double spaced with headings on the bottom of some of the pages. There are spelling issues for example page 89 “selecting your pants“. Funny but not really, as this was meant as a gift. I am returning this book to amazon As I think this book needs some more attention to detail and I do not feel it is appropriate to give to someone starting off gardening. It is extremely basic but at £7.36 I did expect more.It is more like a big pamphlet than a book. The book has a total of 105 pages. In normal text this would equate to about 20 pages. Very disappointed and shocked.

Helpful book
Very good book. Took 1 star off because I wished they had more veggies listed.
