Forever Hope: Living in hope in the midst of life's struggles

Wow is the first word that comes to mind after reading this book. I can't remember the last time, if any, I related to a book this much. The book is so well written and with emotion. I could literally feel the author's words being poured out in this book. It's real, it's raw, it's powerful. It's a story of healing and a story of never letting go of her faith in God.The author shares about her life, including the struggles, the hard times. I was so touched by this book that I shed quite a few tears. If you need healing, if you need hope, if you're hanging on by a thread...please read this book. It will give you hope. This is a book I will cherish. It really touched my heart, reminding me that there is always hope.

Donna and I met online and have never met in person. This book was like having coffee with her in an intimate setting, and listening as she poured out her heart.What really stuck with me is how God prepared her early in life, for the deep challenges she would later face- devastating losses that would cause many to sink.. But God. Each hardship brought her closer to Him, as she learned to trust in His sovereignty. He became her anchor of hope.If you are walking through any kind of loss, heartache, or challenge. Let her words be a balm to your soul and buoy your spirit. You’ll cry, you’ll ask how did she ever get through all of that? But throughout the book you’ll see glimpses of Gods grace that carried her through.He will do the same for you, my friend! Such an encouraging read with questions to ponder as you read through each chapter.

Once I starting reading this book, I couldn’t put it down. It was like I was sitting down with the author at the kitchen table over coffee, as she shared her life with me. I was intrigued, encouraged and inspired all at the same time. Many times tears came to my eyes as I read about the losses she faced. It is quite evident that her faith in God got her through some really dark days. I felt the author’s writing style was casual and by the end of the book I felt I knew her well. This book is a must read for anyone struggling in life. This book offers hope and encouragement. I highly recommend this book.

I personally know this author and watched her live through the experiences she talks about in "Forever Hope". I thought I knew her story. After reading "Forever Hope", I now understand her 'heart'. If anyone is searching for their destiny, this book can become an aide in their search. DL Rudd puts it right out there, in a simple, easy to understand language. If you want to get through the obstacles of everyday living, there is only one way, and that is to accept Jesus as your Savior.

In Forever Hope DL Rudd shares pivotal events in her life-starting from her childhood where she was introduced to Jesus through some very hard times. Throughout the book she shares her faith, joy and hope. After each Chapter she challenges the reader with “Water from the Well” questions and things to ponder so you can have a forever hope too. I highly recommend Forever Hope!

I read the entire book, cover to cover in one day. It was heart wrenching at times, but brutally honest. Many times Christians gloss over the difficulties of life when sharing their stories. The author made it clear that life was anything but easy but she was able to face the challenges due to her faith. I especially liked how she discussed her husband's faith journey. I look forward to reading more from this author as I feel she is a gifted communicator.

This book is a story of life, the author endured so much tragedy but do to her continued faith in God and surrounding herself with lifelong friendships she overcame life’s struggles and pushed forward.This was a quick read and yes, tissue or an arm sleeve will be needed.
