Alla Lighting Super Bright DE3022 DE3021 LED Bulbs, Red Dome, Map, Trunk, Step Courtesy Lights, 31mm 7065 3428 CAN-Bus Interior Festoon Lamps

I bought a few different brands of LEDs and when installing these and turning them on I found that the color is orange not red. Other than the color issue they were correct for the application. Insulation was easy. They have a heat sink on the back of them and I believe that they would have worked well if the would have truly been red. It is a nice product just the wrong color.

I installed these on the lift gate of my truck so my eye's can adjust faster to the night time darkness. If your a night owl like me and fish in the dark you'll appreciate being able to fiddle around in the back of truck and have your eye's almost automatically adjust back to the darkness after your done.To those of you who do not know, red light at night is the best color for your eye's to adjust to without strain. Going from bright white to darkness can really take a bit for your eye's to adjust, not so with red.

I have a dealer installed footwell lighting kit in my car. It is red LED. I have had a red LED dome light for years, to match. It was the brightest, supposedly, at the time. It was mediocre. It occurred to me that technology has improved and I should try a new bulb. I am glad I did. Not only can I clearly see my interior, but the light floods the ground when you open the door. Color me impressed.

So when I bought the my first desire was simply to save on amperage on my vehicle. At night these are sufficiently bright that when you open your door the red light goes out on the ground as well. My girlfriend first response was "way to draw attention" lol so then I was paranoid because that's not my intent. After a week of use I started to appreciate these little bulbs because I can see very well and they have no eye strain so I don't care what anyone thinks.

To start one of them came damaged, the second one was fine. It did not fit as well as expected or advertised. The light tends to rattle as I drive Because of its loose fit. The red coloring is nice and bright, that's about the only good thing.

Leaving my map light on with the oem incandescent bulb killed my battery. I got these thinking if that happens again I may get away with it. Chose red to preserve night vision. These bulbs were exactly what I wanted. 2019 Subaru Outback.

Nice and bright red, without the night blindness caused by regular white lighting. Installation of these bulbs in my FJ Cruiser dome lights took all of about 5 minutes. Easy as can be. If your car suffers from dim interior lighting and you don’t to give yourself night blindness with white lights, these red bulbs are perfect!

Installation was super easy and the truck interior is really bright now. Installed on 2022 Nissan Frontier.
