Excellent
This veneer arrives rolled and wrapped in buble wrap and plastic. The veneer sheet is very flexible but will lose some of that flexibility as it dries in a typical heated room. That is not a criticism of this product, it's common to all veneers but keep it under wraps if maximum flexibility is important to you.It cuts well, maintaining a clean edge and went on well with an old iron on the cotton setting. There was a bit of bubbling after it cooled which meant remedial ironing of those areas, again this is not uncommon and could have been temperature or substrate related. I was using it as facing for kitchen cabinets. It will take a light sanding and this improved the appearance of the grain. A wipe over with white spirit was a fair indicator of the finished colour with a couple of coats of matt varnish. The finish and appearance are excellent and look as good as commercially made veneered boards. If I needed oak veneer agian. I'd buy this again.

Easy to use, lovely finish
Revamped a very well used and battered staircase. The veneer was easy to cut with scissors and easy to apply using an ordinary clothes iron. A coat of clear varnish afterwards and it should stay good for many years. I'm really happy with the product and the results it gives. There have been no issues with bubbling or lifting, although it may split and pull off if caught on cut, unprotected edges but I used a small amount of ordinary glue (contact adhesive) and this sorted the problem.Obviously, basic precautions need to be taken such as protecting carpets, etc. from the heat of the iron and checking which way you want the grain to run.

Worth a try
Actually, done properly, this is a good product! However, I have had to go back and re-iron in places has the veneer as bubbled afterwards. In terms of revamping drawer fronts, it works well.

Great!
Brought some veneer to diy a wardrobe I got for free, and with the pictures I attached I’d say it turned out quite well! Obviously in some areas it looks quite patchy but that’s because I have no experience with veneer at all. However the instructions provided were able to guide me on what to do. Overall, would definitely recommend.Note: would read the instructions if you’ve never used veneer before as it will really help you.
