The case is well built, and looks great, it protects the iPad very well, but that isn't the real reason you or I was looking at this particular case. The design is so well done that when it is closed, it looks just like a composition notebook. I have many such notebooks, and even sitting right next to a real composition notebook, it is very hard to tell them apart. The quarry of product and design is well worth the low price. When my friend saw this case, I immediately had to buy one for them, it's that good.

I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews this case has received. I researched cases for my 2021 10.2-inch iPad for a long while, as I find I use my iPad daily and travel frequently with it. I decided to try my luck with this one. I seriously do not have a single complaint about it. It is sturdy, it has a magnetic cover closure, the cover doubles as a nice stand, it fits extremely well and none of the ports are blocked. I have accidentally set it down on the kitchen counter and gotten food and other liquids on it, wipes right off. The textured surface makes it very easy to hold. I have used this cover for a few months, with heavy daily use, and the case still looks new. I would highly recommend this case to anyone looking for one for a 10.2-inch iPad that holds the Apple Pencil.A few reviews I read complained about not being able to get the Apple Pencil out easily. There is an open slot under the area where the Pencil is stored, that is accessible when you open the case. This allows you to press it out of the holding area. Same goes for the charging adapter (which, for whatever reason, a lot of reviewers seem to think the Pencil cap goes here, and remark that it doesn't fit well. This is because the cap is supposed to stay on your Pencil, protecting the charging interface. The small storage slot above the Pencil is for the small charging adapter piece that comes with the Pencil, and it holds this piece very snug, it is not falling out).I can't recommend this case highly enough. For the bad reviews, I can only imagine that either people ordered the wrong size case, or maybe something is going on in the factory where these are made and they don't all come out as good as mine. If I lost this thing today, I would buy the exact same case again. it is perfect for my iPad and holds my Apple Pencil flawlessly.

I needed a new case for my 8th gen iPad that included a place to hold a stylus pen. I'm very pleased overall with the quality of this case. It feels really good in my hands, and I love the "bumper" trim. The auto-wake function works well, and the cover folds easily into the various ways to hold the iPad up in position. It came with some stickers, which was amusing (I won't be using them, but they're cute).The cutouts for the plugs, camera, speaker are well done. There aren't cutouts for the power and volume buttons. Those are covered and a little harder than I like. Hopefully with use they'll get more responsive (or I'll get used to it). It's a little heavier than my previous case (11.3 oz vs 7.5 oz), which adds to the impression that it's more protective. The stylus pen (mine is non-Apple) fits snugly, no worries about it staying put. There is an open spot behind that is exposed when the cover is open, so you press the pen out from behind rather than trying to dig it out from the front, which I appreciate.The only problem I've had was that the case fit so snugly onto the iPad that it dislodges the screen protector I have, so now there's a bubble on the top left and bottom right. I've got some tricks I'm going to try to get the bubbles out, so we'll see. I think it will work out, but if you're not willing to mess around with it, just be aware that it's an issue.I love this cover overall. It's excellent for the price point. I don't usually write reviews, so to me that's a pretty strong recommendation in itself.

Great fit and easy to install. The pen holder is snug and fits perfectly. Comfortable grip and and performance is as expected. Cover is durable and stratch resistant.

This iPad case is so cute! It really looks like a composition notebook at first glance. The pencil holder also great and holds my (knock off) Apple Pencil very securely

Love this case. It folds and can be used a stand for easy viewing. I get a lot of compliments on this case at work. Being a teacher, this is the perfect case for me.
