Works -
The rubber boot works - it will fit my 1997 Ford F-150 but it is not exactly the same as the factory boot on the transfer case shifter.

boot seems nice plate does not fit
the stainless retainer plate is shiny, but the hole in it does not match the mounting area on the boot by about 1/16" all the way around. Took more than an hour to cut grind and file it to be a reasonable fit.

Had to reshape the chrome ring to get it to fit the rubber cheap made
