I love love this cream. It has all my childhood memories and I could not believe it was here on my Amazon!

Unfortunately this item is not " Pure " Lanolin : It has had perfume added :Very strong smell of a rather masculine fragrance rendering it unusable:I had to throw it away : This advertising is incorrect as not pure .

The label has 100% Pure Lanolin in big block letters. It’s not all that clear in the photo, but the “small print” says “compounded with”. The main ingredient is Petrolatum which is obviously a petroleum product.Was 100% Pure Lanolin in big block letters placed on the label in such a way that it would mislead customers? If you are looking for pure lanolin look elsewhere.Yes I could return it, but the cost of return postage is almost equal to the cost of this jar that contains about 11 other ingredients?? other than lanolin.
