I like this product. Value for money.

I used it on some dishes that bent and lost their shape during travel or shipment. It doesn't dent, rather it helps in causing less visual damage to anything we use it on compared to a normal steel hammer.

The rubber started coming out just by removing softly from nails

Item suited to my purposes & fully functional.HOWEVER, it had clearly been used (photo on left shows clear strike marks/scuffs, even after cleaning off). Used "status" proven by fact that little "collar" from rubber covering of head down the shaft was detached - clearly "torn" from mallet rubber (photo on right). I see no need to return it as it is functional. Just not thrilled about paying full price for a used and superficially-damaged item. These sorts of things should, indeed, be sold rather than thrown out -- but they should be sold as "used" or "slightly damaged" at a reduced price. Passing it off as new by selling it at full price and without warning of its defects is just bad business. The ethics of the prior purchaser, who presumably used it for a bit, then returned it within the return period for a full refund, are clearly also questionable...

If you are looking for a simple, medium weight rubber mallet to have around the house for day to day tasks look no further. I’ve had this thing for like a month and already used it countless times for things I never would have thought a mallet would be useful for before I had one. Nothing fancy, but a great little tool for hammering in things you don’t want to damage.

Heavier than I expected but well made.
