Rivet tool
Works like it should. The sizes in kit are nice if you need a few to get started. Everything seems to be good quality.

3/ 16 stainless rivets you need more power an thing less this tool is ideal!
I'm a vw tech bought this off the Matco truck with Matco logo on it 15 years ago . was happy with the product. Saw this for 40$ and said yes please give me that at 1/3 the cost. Now have this set at home . It is the exact same thing minus the Matco label. This is a supper high end tool at a very good price. I've used them on supper hard stainless steel rivets many times and the maximum size. Hurt my hands a lot but the tool never failed and got the job done . For steel or aluminum rivets this is a great tool.

Best rivet tool I’ve ever owned.
I have owned dozens of river tools and was constantly in a state of frustration. I bought two in case on broke, one has never been used because the first one is still going strong. I use this for aluminum and steel rivets. The mechanism is built well and always grips the rivet shafts and disposes of them properly.

Problem!
Used just a few times on 1/8th inch rivets. Worked fine. Then tried to use it with 3/16th rivets. Will not work. Can't even insert the mandrel. Useless except for 1/8th rivets.=========================================UPDATE: After unsuccessfully looking for documentation, I eventually found the problem. That screw on top is actually an adjustment screw. When going to a larger dia. rivet, back it off 2-3 turns, insert the rivet, then gently tighten until there is some resistance. Do this whenever changing rivet dia.

Riveting Kit
Great kit. The tool is comfortable and you get a starter set of rivets. I have used this on a some customer door panels and a couple of other home projects. The tool worked without issue with the included rivets and some others I had on hand. Recommended if you have one of those old riveters that has a handle so wide you have to use 2 hands to grip the handles. The case is solid for those of use who like to keep tools in a carrying case.

Vast improvement over my legacy Craftsman model
My trusty 40 year old Made in the USA Craftsman rivet tool has grown weary and developed a very bad habit over the decades. It will NOT release the rivet nails without total disassembly with almost every use. I tried everything one can think of to fix the Craftsman. It’s just old and tired and relies on a bad design where the nails eject from the bottom while this new rivet tool ejects the nail from the top.Good timing on the arrival of the new Marsden tool. I am adding brake/turn signal lights to a Thule Pro platform bike rack using stainless rivets and stainless brackets.I ran a test with 5 stainless rivets on some scrap metal. Stainless rivets are tough to install because of their hardness. The Marsden zipped all 5 in place in minutes and ejected all the nails immediately - no disassembly required. I was thrilled.I’m off to finish my Thule light installation - this is a GOOD rivet tool! Hope that helps.

Great riveter.
It's Marson. Need I say more? (I can't believe that I have to write a minimum of fourteen words before I can hit the Submit button)Ok,I should also add that in the mid eighties, I was the Production Manager for a small company, and one step of the manufacturing process was to rivet aluminum frames together. We used several of this same model all day long for one day per week, for four years and only had to replace the small pair of gripping pieces in them once in a while. 8 hours a week times 52 weeks = 416 hours times 4 years = 1,664 hours of riveting for several of them. Beautiful tool.
