SOLA LSX16 X PRO Aluminum Box Profile Spirit Level with 2 60% Magnified Vials, 16-Inch , Red

This is a very handy size for a spirit level and the Sola bubbles are very easy to read.

The 16 inch Sola level is the best I’ve ever used. I do tile and carpentry and have for three decades. I’ve used Johnson, Stabila, Craftsman and Kobalt. It really depends on what you’re doing, obviously you’re not going to frame an entire house with this small level. But it’s incredibly easy to read, sturdy and super lightweight. It weighs about a pound. I keep it in my tool bag and barely notice it’s there. It’s a good size for tile and short runs but can also give you a pretty good idea if something is level that several feet long if there’s a good solid edge to read on. Just a wonderful level that has made my life much easier.I also have the 24 inch Sola level which is top notch as well but too big to stick in a small talk bag and carry around with my other tools—the best level is not the one you leave in the truck. I’ve had several Stabilas, definitely great levels but heavy and expensive. The Sola is a much easier to read And has held up very well for me

The most visible bubble I have ever seen on a level. I would recommend this level to anyone, professional or a dyer.

I own a stabila 196 set (high end). These are the lower end solas and they are GREAT. Reading the bubble is super easy and accurate.Even with my stabilas it’s hard to get as accurate as my solas. However. Stabila is strong. These are too, but I’ve dropped my 6’ stabila 3 stories and is still straight as an arrow and reads true (not on purpose)Great levelsDon’t go dropping levels off of roofs please

Stabila Type 80 has paint finish issues where the top (especially) and bottom surfaces aren't flat. The Sola is flat, even though the surfaces aren't milled like the Big Red series. The Sola 60% vials are much easier to read and don't have off-angle viewing issues like square Stabila top vials.Overall build on both is top notch otherwise but the Sola end caps fit tighter than the Stabila. The top vial does glow but needs sun or incandescent, a LED flashlight is ineffective.

I would buy again in future, works well

The one I received rocked when laid on a flat surface. Felt cheap, too light. Flipping end-to-end to test the center bubble failed the test. Manufacturer's packaging was just shrink-wrap. Amazon tossed it in an oversized box with no cushioning. Paint was scuffed. Spend a little extra for the Stabila.

I am a tradesman and I take real good care of my tools and especially my levels but after 3 months of use the bubble on the 3ft level is off and doesn't match the corresponding bubble. Very unfortunate and I don't think I'll get more sola levels in the future. No point of having a super accurate bubble system if they're not going to be durable.

10" vial head is a bit proud but it is the cheap set so cant expect perfection
