Adequate spring tension to hold chip bags closed, though the wide bag clips would work better for multiple bags if the spring pressure was just a bit greater.While the small clips work well for closing bags (what we bought them for), the flared tops extend far enough out so as to unseat the magnet from a flat surface, such as the refrigerator, should you wish to make use of that feature. While it holds itself to our refrigerator and barely holds a 4x6 photo, the small clip struggles to hold the weight of a kid's piece of artwork drawn on a piece of construction paper. It slides slowly down the refrigerator door.I think I like our old OXO brand bag clips better, but these get the job done.

I don't know if it is by design, or mine are faulty, but all 4 are like this. There is absolutely nothing to retain the hinge pin - so it works its way out after only a few uses, the spring pops out, and it takes a lot of patience to get it back together. The spring can "shoot" out so will be easily lost. The end of that pin needs to be "crimped" so it doesn't back out.

High quality clamp that stays clamped and doesn’t slide off opened packages because of the silicone strip inside. Slightly hard to open but that’s why they stay clamped where you put them.Magnet is weak but we like that because we merely store them on the fridge (easy to take off for use and lessens the chance of scratching the fridge exterior) for use on bags etc, we do not use them to hold items like recipes etc on the fridge.Hard to tell by the photos but the large ones also have magnets attached.We gladly threw away all the cheapo clamps bought from Wally World. These are definitely a quality product that does what you need it to do.

The clip itself is sturdy, so good job on that. (Though, two of them "fell apart" today and none of my kids took credit . . . I don't know if the pin wiggled its way out or if my little genius decided to take them apart.)Giving these 4 stars because the magnet strips are no good. These come with a magnet strip on the back so you can put them on your fridge until you need them. We've only had these a week and already the strip (which is just adhered with double-sided tape) has fallen off three of the four clips. I suppose I could super-glue the strip back on but I don't care that much.

These clips look good at first glance. They clamp fairly well, and the rubber grip keeps them in place. However, after only light use, their design flaw becomes apparent. The hinge pin is very short, and pops out of the clips with the slightest provocation. The hinge pin can (fairly) easily be reset, but they pop out again very quickly. Sadly, the pin can not be bent or otherwise modified to prevent this because it's simply too short. So almost every time you use these things, you'll be resetting the hinge pin. This does make them a bit of a pain to use - what a shame, because they would be good otherwise.

Bought these with intent of placing them on refrigerator doors when not in use. After opening the package we affixed them via their attached magnets to our refrigerator door. The next morning we found 2 of them on the floor in front of the refrigerator, but the magnets were still stuck to the door. The next morning the other two clips were also on the floor. The adhesive used was not any good. We now have to keep the clips in our over crowded drawers.The clips themselves work fine. I do not recommend.

Got tired of the chips going stale because my kids didn’t close the bag correctly! Hated those cheap plastic clips that break and don’t hold well. These are a total 180! They are strong, made well, hold everything shut amazingly, easy to use and I love the magnet option just in case I have papers to stick to the fridge that I don’t want to forget! Bought two sets of these already and will definitely be getting them as parts of housewarming gifts for friends and family.

"Air Tight Seal Grip." Not even remotely. The Springs are ok, but I've certainly had Tighter.My big Problem is the Magnets. All Four fell out the First Day I hung them on the Refrigerator. I tried to glue them back with Gorilla Glue and the Plastic is obviously made specifically to Not Be Glued. If you want to hang them by their Magnets - They wont.Like I said, "Decent...' but certainly not that great.
