Mehron Makeup Liquid Makeup | Face Paint and Body Paint Perfect for Halloween, Cosplay I Air Brush Compatible 4.5 oz (133 ml) (MONSTER GREY)

I was hesitant to get this because the last time I bought this in pink, my friend struggled to get the pink residue off all the way. I bought the gray this time and it worked great. It covers every mark and is a solid gray color across. If still wet, you can add more, but once it's dry, adding more can take some of it off instead (like most paints work). You'll need more layers on joints and places that get touched a lot, I think I ended up with three layers on the hands, one layer on the arms, and I did a second layer on top of the scar makeup so it matched the skin better, you can see the makeup underneath. I did make-up on top as scars and when I washed it off, the makeup had stuck to my arm somehow (it's waterproof), but the paint itself came off completely and didn't dye the skin at all. It didn't stick to the counter or sink either. It's a lighter grey when wet, darker once it dries. I tested it on the arm and face and it was the same for both. Other face paints wash off with it, just the waterproof makeup stayed on. I used liquid glue on the nails to be easier to get off just in case, but I might do the surrounding skin too, it's slightly difficult to get out of the tiny crevices there.

Never used body paint before, and I'm sure there was a better way to apply it than "slather it on like sunscreen."But that's what we did, and we were able to quickly and easily cover everything up. The stuff dried fast, and for about 3-4 hours was just fine-- didn't come off to the touch, didn't rub off in normal usage.As the night wore on, the stuff started to shed and flake. After 6 hours, it was bad enough that the person holding the party reports they're still finding residue.Throwing on a sweatshirt for a 30-minute drive home was enough to rub almost 75% of the paint from my torso.Virtually all of this came off in the shower just by standing under the water, and a simple shampoo and washcloth got all the rest.If you've no idea what you're doing, and just want a fast way to paint up, this stuff will get the job done without leaving you a weird color for a week.Just be aware that it's got a limited shelf life, and any contact with water will cause it to start coming off.

looked like i had just applied my makeup after wearing it for 12+ hours. i’ve never had a makeup look so good after that long i was soooo surprised. it’s very full coverage, only problem is if you wear it for a long time, you’ll scratch your face once and it’ll wipe off a little but that’s on you to not touch your face as much. i wore it with an oompa loompa costume and it was perfect (see picture)

I bought this paint to go to the renaissance fair in LA. The ren fair is about 8 hours long and it is VERY hot and sunny. The paint transferred very easily and immediately after application, but the transfer lessened once it set in after a while. The paint did start to crack/get a bit crumbly, and in my high sweat areas the paint dripped off / rubbed off very easily. I wouldn’t recommend this for long wears if you’re going to be very physically active / in the heat, but may be good for a short night out. The pros are that it spreads very easily, has great pigmentation, and came off easily in the shower. It is also buildable so you can play around with the color depth

I am so pleased with the Mehron body paint. It was SO easy to use and quick to apply. One coat offered excellent coverage, but I needed 2 coats to achieve what I wanted. It held up all day without wearing off (aside from my fingertips [I have a computer job] even the palms of my held the paint REALLY well). When it came time to wash off (over 12 hours after application), there was no staining of skin. Also, a little goes a LONG way. Would totally recommend this.

I painted my entire face with this product for Halloween and left it on for about 4 hours. It very easily washed off but 2 days later I had the most horrible reaction. The skin around my eyes and hairline itched and got very red and swollen and then started getting scaly and peeling - It has taken almost 2 months, a visit to first my eye doctor (who diagnosed "Contact Dermatitis" prescribed steroidal ointment), then my very expensive dermatologist who concurred with my eye doctor and kept me on the steroidal ointment. She said it could take a while for it to completely clear up! I have never had an issue with face paint, cosmetics, etc and have never had an allergy. DO NOT USE THESE PRODUCTS - not worth it!!!

Used for mixing green for Gamora. By purchasing this and the blue I wanted, I was able to customize the color according to my needs. Mixed with Mehron mixing liquid. Applied with makeup sponge, foundation brush, and airbrush. Depending on needs, all work great and have slightly different result. The “rate features” part of reviews should ask for opacity, not sheerness. Brush gives less opacity than sponge. Airbrush is most opacity. Because it’s water based, you can’t really go over it once it’s dried…however, you can layer with airbrush if that makes sense. I set mine with different brand pro stage makeup setting spray. Wish they made aerosol, cuz non aerosol spray can clog and spay unevenly. I think for most uses, wear is going to be amazing.
