Field Guide to Medicinal Wild Plants

This book is great because it covers plants in my backyard and geographical location and not in some far away location I'm not going to visit to collect plants. The pictures are good and you can easily recognize plants from them. The book gives an over-all usage of the plant, if not a lot of detail about how it's processed for use. Over all, I have identified a few plants in my backyard that I haven't found in other books. I'm not mowing my weeds until I identify all of them. I will definitely not spray weeds again now that I know how useful they are.

Great book for natural living as well as preparing for off fried living.

I bought this for my son, and he read it cover to cover. It's very interesting and now he can name many of the plants we have here in the Northeast.

I had this and some other books by this author years ago. Great book in that the drawings, which are in color, surpass newer books I've got that have photos. So I bought it again. Def belongs in anyone who's interested in this subject library.

My 14 year old son loved researching the plants and looking for them while camping. Seems like a classic.

Wow. Print too tiny for these old eyes. Would have returned it but after return cost to this seller was not worth return. Donated it to a book sale. Buyer beware.

Superb handbook, love that it can be on my phone while I hike and explore. Easy to read and share so I can teach the grandkids about wild plants. Great photos and descriptions of plants. Sharing this resource with others.

I got this book in hopes of helping myself naturaly. I have found it very informative and now use some of the plants every day to hopfully stay healthy. I'm glad that I got it and was very satisfied with my purchese

this is an extensive listing, but it could be dangerous to take this information at face value.I would recommend this only to botanists or medical specialists.
