ALL 24 episodes of The Persuaders in pristine condition and same for The Protectors episodes. Other DVD's do NOT have all 24 episodes of The Persuaders. Big bang for money. All DVD's are stacked on top of each other in a nice simple case. Great value. Roger Moore the year before he became James Bond.Value for money spent is uncomparable.

Two great shows but the item is NOT as advertised. This is not a complete set of episodes from either series.

Have only watched ep 1 pf Persuaders and it's unusual, funny, dramatic and has that feeling of the 60-70's British spy dramas that always intrugued me. The combination of Tony Curtis with Roger Moore is a treat! It's like the Odd Couple in a spy series! Can't wait to watch the rest! Only 4 stars because of the age of the transfers but pretty good for the price!

two very good sets in one box - roger Moore between the saint and James bond, Bob Vaughan after man from uncle definitely recommended

I am an old fan of both these shows form the 70's and to find Both of them on one DVD is just to good to be true. The quality is good and to watch the shows is a real hoot. When there is nothing else on TV this is what I put on. I've watched about 1/2 of it so far and I'm not disappointed.

Haven't had a chance to watch all of set yet. Liked what I've watched so far. Can't beat the price.

I am beyond happy with this package I love the TV show when I was a kid watched it with my mom and amazing plus I got a bonus I got another TV series with Robert Vaughn which is good as well so I got all over 100 episodes of both to watch the price you cannot beat it incredible anybody that’s in the older TV shows this is definitely one to get Roger Moore and his prime and Tony Curtis and they play off each other perfectly fantastic bye I am more than Once again Amazon hit the mark higher than I ever expected thank you. Undeniably good bang for your buck with huge caveats. Upon opening the box, you'll notice that 53 (!) episodes of the Protectors are crammed onto three discs, and the results are extremely inconsistent. Some episodes are so compressed they're nearly unwatchable, while others are passable. The Persuaders, with only 24 episodes crammed onto three discs, fares much better. I'm disappointed that VEI decided to not make these DVDs double-sided, if only to make this viewing experience slightly less oppressive.

I only watched the first two episodes of Persuaders (so far) but quality is excellent. I had never heard of Pretenders so have not started to watch it yet. Hopefully the quality will remain constant throughout all the box set. This is my second box set from VEI (The Equalizer) and I was very pleased with it. Now if only they they create a box set for 77 Sunset Strip and Adventures In Paradise (Gardner McKay) that I can buy I will be extremely happy.

I just loved The Persuaders when it was on TV and to watch it again brought back great memories and was great fun. I just loved both Roger Moore and Tony Curtis. The Protectors was sort of a bonus, since I had never heard of it. It is nothing like The Persuaders, but it was OK to watch. For the price, you can't really go wrong. Very good quality considering how old they are and there was HD back in those days. Highly recommended.

I found no real issues with the sound or video quality, like some seemed to. The video is clear and good quality, though has the artifacts of it's time, like overly bright solid colours. The audio was also clear, though a bit sharp by modern standards. If you hate the music, dialogue or themes of the 70s, probably not for you. However both shows are particularly high value productions for the period.Curtis and Moore have good chemistry in this hour format series. It's a bit heavy on "female scenery", but that's a plus for some. The pacing is good, but not great. The fight choreography is cringe worthy. Over all the show was a pleasant, relaxing, and light hearted. I would recommend to anyone looking for 42 minutes of pleasant escape.The Protector was a bit more edgy and a half hour format. The chemistry between cast members wasn't there in what I've watched so far. The cinematography was unusual. I would describe it as good and innovative, but some might find it jarring. The plot is a bit uneven and I hope the pacing improves as I watch more. Not bad, by any means, but needs refinement (which it will hopefully find as I watch more). Feels a bit like they were going for a cheap copy of John & Emma era avengers.
