Q: what is the shelf life for the wet food can?

It comes with a shelflife of 24 months, however I have not kept it unused for 24 months because I keep buying fresh stock every month! I have used 1 year old cans & have had no issue with the health of my 2 Shih Tzu dogs! My pets have been on Kennel Kitchen food since 3 years! I feed them about 4 brands of food because I don't give them ANY home-made food! My pets are on Kennel Kitchen, Wag & Love, Himalaya Wellness & ProBreeds! I feed them 3 times a day & I keep changing these brands in turn, morning, evening & night, so that they don't get fed up with one particular brand the whole day! All the 4 brands mentioned are suitable to my 2 pets & visits to the Vet is very minimal!

Q: How to include this in shih Tzu diet? Mine is a very picky eater

Instructions are given in their website (Kennel Kitchen) as to how a new food or change of food has to take place! Introduce it 1/4 can in a day & gradually make it 1/2 can per day along with their regular food! If your pet is comfortable with it then, you can add more! It is mentioned on the can that a 5 kg dog can be fed 1can per day! It is highly nutritious so, never over feed the dog as it is hard to digest! Go slow on introducing a new food always! For a picky eater, try to introduce by adding in it's regular food, little by little! I hand feed my pets so, they are happy eating from the spoon!

Q: Is this suitable for 3 months puppy( Germanshepherd)?

The instructions on the KK can says "Natural Food for Dogs--Adult & Puppy & Suitable for all ages & sizes above 3 months of age" so, I guess it is suitable for all dog breeds! However, while introducing any new food to the pet, do it in a phased manner by adding 1/4th can in a day during the 1st few days, then 1/2 can if your pet is ok with it & more, after a few days! Kennel Kitchen food is highly nutritious so, the pet needs to digest such heavy food! Go slow on the change by incorporating it with it's regular food that was being fed so far! Check their "Transition Instructions" if need be!
