Outdated app
Product works fine for a smart bulb but app isn't available on Google play, had to download it through an apk. Can't connect it to my nest so no smart home for me but other than that decent product which is quite bright

Works as expected once the correct app installed
Took a while to pair but once done it works well with Alexa, did need to download the Smart Life app though not the one listed in the instructions.

Mood light
Connects easily to the TCP smart app.It’s not massively bright. Connect to Amazon easily enough. Had it all set up within 2 minutes.

Not simple to set up
If you have 5ghz Wi-Fi you need to switch it off to connect the bulb then turn it back on once it’s set up.. now I sound like know what I’m doing but I don’t.. I had to ask by partner who is savvy in these things to set it up. Not simple to set up at all. Personally I’d not buy one of these again! The only reason I did is I needed this small bulb for a specific lamp and I couldn’t get one in my normal brand of smart bulbs. Look for something easier to set up!!

Get the smart life app. Then it works.
Forget about downloading the Accio app. Doesn't seem to exist. But get the smart life app and away you go. For some reason you have to prime the bulb first by turning it on and off three times but then it pairs easily. Finds your WiFi. Asks for the password. Job done.

AFTER A LOT OF MESSING ABOUT BECAUSE YOU CANNOT DOWNLOAD THE APP WITH QR CODE I FOUND SMART LIFE TOOK A WHILE BUT GOT IT TO WORK AND CONNECTED TO ALEXA SELLER SHOULD INFORM BUYERS ABOUT THE APP NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE

Fun and looks good, but worried about quality/lifespan
I have two of these. One stopped working at 6 weeks old. Tried everything I could but think the bulb has just gone kaput. Hard to tell without opening it up which I of course am not going to do. I hope amazon takes the return without the box (who keeps a lightbulb box for 6 weeks? Who thinks 6 weeks is an acceptable lifespan of a light in the height of summer when it’s light til 10pm). Will get a replacement rather than try another brand as I have the 1 other bulb active and getting separate apps for separate bulbs would be annoying. Worried that it may be a regular thing now.

Ain't technology marvellous
The media could not be loaded. Does exactly what I wanted it to do. I can turn my lamp that is on my windowsill off from my bed on the other side of the room. I can make my room blue if I feel a bit low, or green if I'm feeling impish. Or I can make my whole room glow red if I'm feeling like a whore. 😉
