I've long been a fan of ratchet belts. Unfortunately, however, they tend to wear out much sooner than traditional belts. The two common issues I've faced repeatedly are the ratchet teeth breaking and the teeth holding the buckle to the belt pulling through the leather, forcing me to cut the end off the belt.I bought these belts a little over a year ago and have been wearing the black one almost daily. The ratchet hasn't degraded at all and I noticed the buckle teeth pulling out for the first time today, which is surprising in terms of durability.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the quality of these belts.

These are good adjustable belts. Eventually they wear too but I recommend them. Other leather belts have ripped in two from use over time in the same holes. These are reasonable and good.

I have owned several different "ratchet" style belts. I really like them over traditional belts, with one big exception. They always break. Normally it's the mechanism that locks the belt in place. I have owned the expensive "shark tank" brand, and various different brands in between. My last one broke, so I decided to try this 2 for 1 deal. First off, the good:The mechanism on this belt is actually different then the others ones I have owned. To unlock the belt, you actually life up the entire buckle, and that makes the little stopper piece go back in. It seems like a good design. I prefer it for opening the belt, and time will tell if it's less likely to break.The normal. The belt comes in a fine package. It's the typical process where you cut the belt to the right size, then attach the buckle to the belt. This one has a slighly smaller overlap piece where you insert the belt into the buckle to attach it. I don't think it will make a big difference, but maybe? It was also packaged with a small screw driver, which is a nice touch. It's used to lift up the flap where the buckle attaches to the belt.The bad. The belt feels very, very plastic like. I know they tend to use cheap leather on these ratchet belts, but this is by far the lowest quality. In fact, I looked for a leather stamp, and could not find one anywhere on the belt. It also smelled terrible when I first opened it. I had to air it out for a day. I was thinking about switching out the buckle with a different belt. But, I think that might be an issue. i haven't verified it yet, but it seems like the belt is smaller then others I have owned. The other thing that I don't love, the belt is a style that imitates an open front, with a little fake notch in it. I like that look. But, the back of the buckle is open. When you are putting the belt in, that can cause it to pass through the hole and not get put in properly. From a design standpoint, it would have been easy to fix, but making the back part smaller then the belt part.So, if you are concerned about the quality of the leather, I would take a pass. It would have been nice to have something that felt higher quality, BUT at this price, it's about what I would expect. I have worn the belt for a few days now with no issues. If it fails for any reason in the next few months, I'll update the review.

Purchased these as a gift for father's day as he needed new belts. Quality on these is pretty good, and he has since enjoyed using them. Sizing was good, and fit right. Will be keeping them.

Product allows you to trim to your size, and even allows replacement if you mess up the first time. The ratchet spacing makes for a more precise fit as well. Nice looking buckles, too.

Most convenient belt to wear. Best adjustable belts made. Greatest invention in belts today! Would highly recommend

These are good quality belts for the price that I paid. I have gotten a lot of use out of them, and they are still holding up with normal wear. I like it that I got 1 Brown and 1 Black, so that you can wear them with just about anything.

These a bought for my grandson. He is 18 and very thin, and the regular belts never wor for him, but these work SUPER GREAT for him
