Quality brass chamber brush handle in a standard 5/16-27 thread
This is a heavy beautifully made handle that has a standard 5/16-27 thread. This means it not only works with the Pro Shot 12 Ga Chamber Brush, but it works with any standard shotgun brush or cleaning attachment sold in the USA. Payne Galloway Chamber Brushes and associated handles are sometimes sold in a different different thread, so to me this was good to know that it was a standard US thread. I have a lathe and thought about making one, but for the price and quality of this product it wasn’t worth ordering the brass stock.

Nice item but different than advertised
Really nicely made Pro Shot product, as would be expected.However, I was expecting an all-brass chamber brush handle, such as the one shown as advertised, that would complement the contents of a rosewood British presentation cleaning kit.The product received will work, but its more modern aesthetic was not expected. Still, a good price for a nice item, so I’ll keep it.

Disapppointed
This is a solid, well made shotgun cleaning tool. However, I was disappointed that what I purchased was only the handle. This product has poor labeling and its photo is misleading. This chamber tool should have came with the handle AS IT IS PICTURED HERE but it didn't. I do not recommend buying this tool here. BUYER BEWARE - this product does not include the brush attachment pictured!!

This is the handle for the bore brushes and choke cleaners. Well made, lets you get a good grip so your cleaning is effective with a minimum of effort. Looks to fancy to really work but its first class and the weight balances the chamber brushes very nicely.

Just get one
What a handy tool. I never thought about getting one until I used a friend's choke tool. It really makes cleaning chokes easier and is a great value. I shoot around 9000 shells a year and I clean my shotgun a lot. This little tool has been a great addition to the cleaning kit.

Needed this for the Pro Shot bore brush. Heavy duty, should last forever. Allows for thorough, rigorous chamber cleaning between rounds of shooting.

A little misleading
Only reason that I could not give this item 5 stars is that the picture was misleading. You are buying the handle/wad knocker, the actual brush does not come with this listing. Sadly I had to go to another website to acquire the 12 gauge brush and it cost more than the handle, make sure you think this one through before purchasing.
