I put these strips around the storm window and then installed the window. It lasted a long time. Southern sun caused them to deteriorate over the years(10+)and they needed replaced. Got it done in no time.

Superb product. Just the right thickness at 3/16ths of an inch to get into door cracks. We use it around storm doors and a leaky patio door. Peel and stick and drafts are reduced. You can use this in winter time, cold weather doesn't keep it from adhering, so you can feel for drafts so you know exactly where to apply it. This foam compresses more than some other products we've tried, so you don't have to try to shave it or trim it to get it to fit into tight gaps.Removal after winter (if you want to or need to take it off) is easy, just peel it off slowly, and any remaining adhesive and foam can easily be scraped off with your fingernail. Of course you can't really reuse it after you remove it, but next winter you can just apply a new strip of foam.

My use case is slightly different than most for this foam tape. I used it to dampen the sound in my mechanical keyboard. For this use, it works great and is a cheap alternative to a custom cut piece of foam for the keyboard. It's quite cheap so you can be generous in your application.

I use this in pinball games. The big box stores used to carry this size and density, but now all they have in stock is black foam tape and not with the right amount of compression resistance. This is perfect for my application, so it is nice that Amazon makes it available. I have been using Frost King foam and rubber seals for many years.

Item was sent to us already used and more than half of it is gone. It was a waste of money and we can’t get our money back. DON’T BUY!!We needed it for the freeze happening tonight and now we barely have enough to go around one pipe.The Amazon box itself was I damaged and I open, which means this item was sent to us already opened/used up.

I purchased a washable AC Filter. They never fit well. I have a 20x24, this was enough to go all the way around & on the top so I get an excellent seal. This would work with the more common 20x25 as well.

Just what I needed to put between my sliding door and the dog door to help keep the draft out of the house.
