The DALAO Aluminum Can Compactor,can crusher is amazing ... it is sturdy, works great, and easy to use! I bought this after my 11 year old's apparent he-man like strength bent up the old crusher, so I went on a jungle site quest for something that would not bend and fold from the super strong soda cans and my sons hulk like pulls. The DALAO Aluminum Can Compactor,can crusher is just the beast! it stand up to that feat!!!! Back to saving room in the can bin for less trips to the recycling center!!!!!!

This is a very heavy duty can smasher. I’ve had other metal ones in the past where the handle has broken & then it was difficult to use. This has a handle but the additional cover helps to hold everything together.

I have had 2 can crushers prior to purchasing this one. Within a few months, they each began falling apart. THIS ONE? It totally rocks! Totally Awesome! Been using it for months now and no sign of "buckling under the pressure". Bought a recycling can to place directly beneath it. Fill it up, replace the bag, fill up another, replace the bag, repeat. I use mine primarily for aluminum cans, but it's not afraid to tackle a few "heavier" cans as well.

I don’t usually write reviews but I was kinda annoyed with this crusher. The box came damaged (possible returned) and it was missing the mounting screws. It’s on the heavy side but seems durable. I only crushed 10 or so cans with it so far and it crushed them nicely, especially if you dent the can before crushing. My crusher seems to get stuck when trying to open from the fully closed position. Not every time but enough to annoy me and I can’t tell what it’s catching on. All in all I think it’s a good sturdy crusher, just need some muscle to get it to open.

So far, so good. The product is solid, works as promised, and looks as though it should last a very long time. It is very heavy, however, and should be mounted in a stud, not drywall alone. Instructions are clear, and mounting it on the wall was simple. You might want to use a slightly larger screw for this to make it really solid. Remember, too, that this is for aluminum cans, not steel cans.

After reading a ton of reviews regarding can crushers, I settled on this simple, solid steel "tool." That's right, I rank this as a tool as it is industrial strength sturdy. It's easy to use and what really attracted me was the fact that it doesn't need to be mounted on a wall to work. Two things I would suggest however if you're using on a kitchen counter. First, position a towel underneath it to protect the counter surface. Second, as I have seen also in other reviews of can crushers, is to put a few spray shots of silicone along the inside walls to ease the friction of the down swing. The cans crush right down to 1/2" as promised. Using it lying down on its back seems to reduce can kick-out. By not mounting it on a wall it allows for easy clean-up of any liquids that may squeeze out of the cans. Very happy with it. Money well spent. And as a bonus, it arrived a day ahead of it's projected delivery date. Well done all around!

I was hesitant buying other can crushers because of some bad reviews. This one works great! It's all metal and heavy. Crushes cans easily. You need to dent the cans by squeezing them in middle before you load it in the crusher. I've had no problems crushing 20 cans so far.The drywall anchors are the same cheap stuff that comes included with most other products. You should probably use something better, but so far, they're holding up. I will replace the center screw with a toggle bolt if it gets loose.The paint on the exterior was chipped in some places and the "Super Leader" sticker slapped on it is not attractive. I don't care since this is in my garage and is out of sight, but if you plan on mounting this in a common area like a kitchen, be warned.

After reading every review on Amazon, I settled on this can-masher. It’s built like a tank, will be here from now on. Takes all but the tallest cans, if you twist those a bit, they fit too. Anything that fits will be crushed flat!Public Service Announcement: When crushing lots of cans, wear a glove, SOME CANS WANT TO JUMP OUT!I found myself keeping in contact with the can as I begin crushing to keep the can steady. Also, as the cans implode, very sharp metal takes it’s place! Be cautious.

Very sturdy can crusher, paid a bit more for this after returning a cheaper one, but it’s worth the extra money. Definitely put a kink in the can before crushing though, makes it so much easier.

Love it. It handles the tall cans as well. Excellent purchase
