NOT over the calf!
Nice socks, but beware: These are clearly not over the calf as indicated in the Amazon website, instead they are just the standard above-ankle crew length.

Great quality, not quite enough grip.
These are very nice socks. Good material right fit, perfect thickness and slight ribbing. They don't stay up for me so knocking one star off. They were recommended by GQ as the best socks ever, and are quite nice. Perhaps over the calf ones would stay up.

These are supposed to be high-end socks?
Most uncomfortable socks I've ever put on. Ha, and I'm not even being over the top. They're legitimately the worst I've put on in my 40 yrs. Scratchy and not soft at all. Completely see-through... my toes bulged through... yet they were somehow still baggy because they have no stretch.I mean.... these are truly awful socks. So bad that its odd they could be considered good by anyone.Maybe its because they're made in the UK and they prefer terrible socks across the pond? Naw, checked with my British wife and she concurs that they're awful.

Superior quality and design.
While extremely soft and the feel of superior quality, the socks don’t stay up on the leg as well as other less expensive socks.

High Quality Socks that Last
I have been only buying Pantherella socks for years. I got tired of other socks being too thick or too thin, the heel wearing out quickly. Plus the color fading. I don't have these problems with this brand. They are comfortable, they fit, and they last. I used to get them at a high end men's store but am happy that Amazon carries them now. They cost more, no question, but they are worth the extra cost - one pair outlasts three pairs of department store socks.
