I have had this device for a couple weeks. I rarely review something unless they are really bad, or really good, especially for the price paid. So far, this device is exceptional for the money.Here are a few details that were either not mentioned or not clear from the description:- This comes with a very decent, Cordura nylon-style case with belt loop.- This was not only one of the cheapest on Amazon when I bought it, but also one of the newest releases based on USB-C charging port and the very sensitive integrated electronic level necessary to determine angles for some of the integrated formulas.- It has 196’ range, or 60 meters, just as listed in the description. However, one the photos shows a device having 100 meters range. This is incorrect and must be a photo of a similar model.- The device takes three AAA standard batteries. It is my understanding you can supply your own NiMh rechargeable and charge them using a USB-C connection.The build quality is decent. Buttons are solid and the illuminated display is very sharp and bright. The plastic bezel is a bit thin and scratchable-typical for this grade of tool. There is some water protection, but don’t count on protection from submersion. The device is covered in a rubberized like coating, which may help protect from damage, but not as robust as a pro model. The battery door is the weakest point in the build, but still serviceable.
