Thirteen (The Winnie Years)

Book Review
This was such a great book! Although, I'm sorry about something in this book. Lauren Myracle really didn't have to put the word bit-ends-with-a-ch!!!!!!!! Really, I think this book shouldn't be put out to kids under the age of 11. I mean, in the book, did Winnie really have to describe what the tongue-action kiss felt like?!! And she really didn't have to describe that the "kiss felt hesitant, then not so hesitant. Lars's lips felt soft and warm." Now THAT was really inappropriate!! Next time, if you write a book Lauren, PLEASE don't put stuff in there like that!! But otherwise, this book was great.

Winnie rocks!
This wonderful series manages to take me back to my own teen years, while also remaining clearly in today's middle-class, suburban USA, mostly white world. Once I got used to the idea that this book does not try to appeal to everyone--that it is what it is: Winnie's world--then I came to enjoy the stories very much. One does, also, have to deal with the frequent product placements, although there are fewer in this book than in Myracle's earlier efforts, "Twelve," "Eleven," and "Ten."

Great!
This book is such an attention grabber I love the Winnie years series I read eleven, twelve and this one, thirteen my personal favorite was twelve, but I must say that there were some "inappropriate" scenes, but it was still good but this is about thirteen, not twelve, so I thought it was a bit boring at the beginning but it got much, much better as the book went on.I loved it.

Awesomeness!
This product was amazing and I have purchased almost all of Winnie's amazing journeys through time as she grows up! This book is amazing because you can really relate to it! I would totally buy this book for young people who enjoy being a kid! I am so thankful I found out about these books! Buy 'em!

Great
I have read almost everyone of the books in this series and every time I read one I am more and more amazed at how well Lauren Myracle can write. Everyone of her books is different. However this series is about the evolution of a girl turning into a teen. In every book she encounters different situations whether it's friends or family.

thirteen (the winnie series)
I loved this book! This book is perfect for a pre teen! I think the winnie series grows up with you from the age of ten then it just grows along with you till the age of 14; the years where boys were just creatures and girls were the real human beings, to where boys were more than friends!
