Electric Hair Straightening Comb - Pressing Comb

I bought this for myself and my mum to use to straighten our hair which is natural. It arrived at the beginning of Sept 2022. When it first arrived the comb was great it heated up efficiently and was good enough to use on an almost weekly basis by one or other of us. However while it worked well as usual 2 days ago disappointingly today it was plugged in and left to heat up but nothing happened. We tried other plugs with no success. The plug outlets are working fine for other electrical items.So the item has died less than 12 months after we bought it. We are left with the decision as to whether we buy another one or try to find something similar from a different brand and supplier. Not a happy customer.

Is hot for sometime, then you got wait for it to be hot again.

Wow! The last time I used a product similar to this was when my mum used to hot press my hair for school and that was more than thirty five years ago! Since then my hair has always been relaxed, until now. I decided to grow out my relaxer but have struggled to cope with the thick roots growing back and found the smallest of curling tongs didn't quite reach the roots close enough. Well this has truly solved the problem. I almost gave up looking for a hot comb but then stumbled across this one. I love this product! This gets hot enough for me to do the job and I found it really easy to work with. Okay it may not get your hair dead straight but its enough for me to manage and afterwards be able to run my fingers through! The black tip of the comb did get a bit hot so I wouldn't suggest you touch this for too long, its just a guide.Overall I am really pleased with this product (comes with heat mat) and would definately recommend.

I bought one and the handle was broken which parts that broke off in the box, i returned and ordered another only for this to be in worse condition!! The comb wobbled in the handle and was so loose that i feared it would fall out. On both of them the handle was split open and not secure. Do not purchase this product is absolutely awful. I will be going into an actual shop to purchase this rather than risking ordering online again.

Doesn’t get that hot takes ages to heat up, and You have to go over the same part to get straight Hair.

I gave it a 5 star so my review can be seen Please do not buy this product I got this for my birthday and it just lying there in the house it is totally useless. It does not get hot. I haven’t been home so I was unable to return it and my return window closed but it useless trust me.

There is not enough control of the heat - I found it way too hot and had to use it once switched off.

Good for quick touch-up but doesn't make my hair look really straight.
