you need to buy items like this in person especially if its for arts and craft reasons cause theres no way to tell if three are dark blemishes or cuts on the face of the wood slab

I usually buy these at hobby and craft stores but they were out of stock and I was in a pinch and needed some asap. I was leery buying these without being able to look at them but they came without any knots or blemishes in the wood. I don't expect this to happen every time, wood is never perfect, but I will continue to buy these on Amazon and just return the undesired ones and repurchase more. Someone will use them all eventually.

Was more like 5 1/2” wide and 8 1/4” long. Nice, clean slab of wood tho.

I used this to carve a picture of my daughter. You could easily do a photo transfer or even just glue on a photo and cover with a clear finish. Very much worth the money for someone who can't get out to cut and dry their own wood.

These are a really unique product. I wanted to use them as cheese and food boards. They come totally unfinished so you can finish as you choose, based on the desired usage. I brushed them with mineral oil which gave them a nice, rich finish and they are perfect for food. The sizes will vary, all are not alike, but that was stated before I ordered and is perfectly fine with me. Very pleased.
