I wrote this review actually for four products as they work so well in concert:If you also buy the Tightac Coffeevac 1 pound canister to keep your coffee in you can say good-by to struggling to get your hand down in the bottom of those narrow coffee bags to reach the coffee in the bottom. It seals well, better than the bags the coffee comes in as it has a vacuum seal. It's very easy and a pleasure to use. The coffee bag hassle, every time you want to make some coffee, is eliminated.I like the Bunn Coffee drawer because I want to brew two servings (10 oz) at a time using the Coffee Drawer insert. I like to paper filter my coffee as that removes some oils in coffee that are not good for you and leaves you with all of the benefits of coffee. A 10Oz serving is perfect for the Contigo steel Desk Mug another product which I like very much when used with the Bunn MCU Single Cup Multi-Use Home Coffee Brewer. It keeps the coffee warm for a long time and has a vacuum set up that really seals the coffee in when the mouth piece seal is released.There is enough material in the Ekobrew Single Serve Filter single serve filters to allow two measures (a 10 ounce serving of coffee) to be placed with just enough room left over to seal the coffee grounds in the paper filter when the top screen of the Bunn Coffee Drawer (not the single serve Cup Drawer) is closed. I iron out the bottom of the paper filter with my thumbs and forefingers to increase its volume – works exceedingly well.All of these products taken together make a real winning combination especially if you want to brew two servings of coffee at the same time and use a paper filter to get rid of the unhealthy oils coffee contains. The Ekobrew Single Serve (don't let the name fool you it's just big enough (barely, and that is what you want it to be) is an essential part of this set-up. It seals so well almost no grounds get down into the Bunn Coffee Drawer. I can easily dump the grounds and wipe out the drawer and brush off the top screen with a Kleenex and I'm ready to go again. I wash the coffee drawer once a day.

Great cost and works great

I bought this recently to hold espresso beans. I've only had it a few days but I really like the container. I'm not convinced that the seal is airtight (It's probably not), but it seals pretty well. The thing to realize when purchasing this is that the black top is basically only held on by the vacuum. The problem is that to anyone who hasn't seen the container before, it looks like the top either screws on, latches, or is secured some other way. I've only had this a few days but I already saw 2 people pick it up by the top at first to check it out. The lid separates almost instantly when you press the little button on the lid, but again if someone is picking it up by the lid and also happens to press the button, its going to eject the container and all its delicious coffee beans onto the floor. This isn't a huge deal and obviously the answer is "don't pick it up by the top", but it's not always possible to explain to it to everyone before they decide to pick it up.Other than that issue, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to open the container with one hand, but my hands seem big enough to do so. My hand is a little over 7 inches from edge of my wrist to the top of my index finger and it doesn't seem to be a problem. If my hands were a bit smaller I could see it requiring two hands to open (one to lift the lid, the other to press the release). That could be obnoxious if you're multitasking in the kitchen while making your coffee. Despite that, I feel like it's a pretty good price for a nice sized container. I've never stored my beans in another type of container, but this is a huge step up from the disposable bags that the coffee comes in.Pros:+Good Price+Good Size+Does a good job of preserving beans.+Very light (I expected something heavy, this weighs almost nothing).+It looks pretty slick.Cons:-Doesn't seem completely airtight.-Someone is going to pick this up by the lid and smash my beans all over the floor, someday.Other:-Could be too big to open with one hand, but it's fine for my hands.

A friend has one of these and I had to come get my own. These are amazing! Keeps things very fresh and looks so simple and chic next to my coffee maker.

Es de plastico que se ve un poco fragil se se cae. El efecto de vacío funciona de maravilla, así que para conservar el café cuando no lo vas a usar por unas semanas, está excelente.

The product is marked "Coffee" and I suspect the giftee will use it for that commodity. New Coffee order arrives tomorrow, we shall see what actually transpires.
