Complete Hose Assembly Designed to Fit Dyson DC27 & DC28 Vacuum

Was getting ready to buy a new Dyson Animal, and thought hey let me try and replace the hose. Basically my orginal hose was preventing the wnad from being removed and inserted with ease. I first thought it was the wand which was so pricey I said lets just get a new Dyson, I then thought hey maybe its the hose and not the end of the wand.So glad i decided to get this part. It fit perfectly and seemed to be as good or better quality then the original (when new). My wand slide in and out with ease after this was installed and installation took all of 15 seconds.If your wand is no longer sliding in and out with ease this is a great easy fix and no brainier.

This work perfect on the Dyson 28 animal. What’s a little hard to get the bottom to snap in, I used a flat head screwdriver on the lip to get it to snap into place.

I was looking for a replacement for my broken DC28 hose. Dyson was out of the OEM ones and didn't have a time frame when they would be available again. Some of the other reviews mentioned this hose not fitting the DC28, but I gave it a shot as there aren't a lot of choices. It fit my DC28 fine. It looks and feels almost exactly like the OEM one, with the exception that you have to push the accessories on a little harder to get the clip to engage and lock them on. Not ideal, but also not a big deal.

The replacement hose does not fit my Dyson DC28. It won't click into place. The first picture is with the original hose connection. I drew a line where it meets the housing. The second picture if with the replacement hose on. It clearly doesn't come close to fitting. Will be returning.

This fits my DC28 perfectly - Originally bought on February 6, 2017. Had to order another one today Jan 3rd, 2020 because of a broken/cracked hose. It's a cheap fix and works great until it cracked. The quality of this hose only lasted just shy of 3 years with average use.
