Bought this in Feb 2011, still going strong
Bought this for a side load Frigidaire Dryer, and the component arrived in spec and works well, it has not burned out and saved me a lot of money in "house call" repair costs. I actually replaced all of the sensors and the control board because of a fried relay (which was the main failure).I figured for a few dollars more I could replace all of these high stress parts (including this one), exposed to lots of heat over time, and save the board if I made a mistake testing out the contributing failed components. It was a good call and I am getting more service out of my 2003 dryer.

Works great
My dryer was turning off after a few minutes leaving the clothes still wet. After a little research I found this part is a common failure with that symptom. It installed fairly easy in 30 minutes or so. I had to remove the top panel then the entire front panel for access. Now it is working great again.

Not OEM
Seems we have a bit of a bait and switch situation. Myself like all the other recent purchases didn’t not receive an OEM thermistor. It’s a generic one that has no marlin GB s and more importantly registers at ~10 ohms rather than the ~50 ohms that it should. Total waste of time.

Came faster
Installed but wasn’t my issue

Works as expected.
What can I say? It fixed my dryer. The only other thing I can say about it is that it was easy to replace.

good price. Our dryer's problem turned out to be ...
Quality part, good price. Our dryer's problem turned out to be the heater relay, however. We kept the new thermister installed. May as well, since a new one is probably a bit more accurate.

it's better to have it on hand and not need it
When you start getting the faults related to this part, it's better to have it on hand and not need it, than need it and not have it!

beware of online troubleshooting videos
turns out this was not the problem, needed new heat element. there is some misleading info online about these. I watched a video that said the resistance on my ohm meter should be just over 10k so when it registered 46k I thought it was bad. turns out, the online video was bad, so just beware of troubleshooting videos online. Easy part to access and replace though, and now I guess I have a spare.
