This is one of those easy to read - easy to apply books based on the practices of Jin Shin Jutsu. It contains 48 applications that are useful in everyday life. Each application is clearly and beautifully described in text and in big, clear pictures, perfectly showing the reader what to do. Relevant explanations are added where needed. There is also a short index of what to apply in some most common situations, covering physical and emotional needs.Most of the applications are for self help and easy to apply. This is a useful family book. I would suggest going through it several times before the need for an application arises.The overall presentation of the book is very friendly, it makes the reader feel comfortable and confident about what to do. The feel and appearance of the book makes it very attractive. It is a pleasure to open it and this adds to the urge to apply it.It is an excellent introduction to a healing art that gets results. The text is in large letters, in colorful pages, including many quotes and stories.I appreciate the originality of the presentation. It gives it life. I highly recommend it.

A good basic self help book for non-Jin Shin Jyutsu people. A good start to taking responsibility for ones own health

This stunningly beautiful book is just what my inner doctor ordered: a book that makes the practice of Jin Shin Jyutsu both easy and delightful. We know it's meant to be enjoyed, because the model for the wonderful pictures in the book looks so relaxed and radiant. This is something that is not quite so apparent when browsing other books on the topic showing only the simple diagrams. The photos make all the difference in the world, showing how it's done, of course, but even more important, how to do it comfortably.Each Jin Shin book that I have offers different quick steps or flows for various conditions, and this one has a few more to add to my non-medicine medicine cabinet. A few of them have proven to be more effective than what I had been using, with fewer steps and contortions to reach my goals. If you don't find a "quick step" for what's bothering you, the author offers an extra appendix as a downloadable pdf file on her website that describes other conditions each quick step might help.If you only buy one Jin Shin Jyutsu book, this is the one for you. It's comprehensive, easy to follow, and formatted so that it's easy to find the steps that you need. If you already have one or two others, this one is a valuable addition to your library.Mrs. Stemple, you're an angel for writing this book!

I decided several months ago to incorporate Kryon's motto for my journey toward wisdom and healing; "change without challenge". I am done with the arduous, the tedious, and the time-consuming. That is why I ordered Instant Healing after I spotted it in Peggy McColl's newsletter. That was almost 2 weeks ago. I feel like I have found a treasure and I want to shout it from the rooftops.I am very busy with my children and a full time job. I had been doing one healing quickstep a night as I fell asleep. Normally, I have to make a conscious effort to fall asleep. With the healing quicksteps, I have been falling asleep without realizing it; very naturally and very easily. I had not even known that all of the quicksteps helped with sleep until I finally read the front matter of the book yesterday and found it on p. 18. I had just jumped into the quicksteps without reading that initial information. So, merely through experience, I discovered that they all help with sleep.Last weekend, I had done the quickstep "38. Harmonizing Anger". That day, my daughter said, "It's the weekend and you guys aren't fighting." I told her about the quickstep I did that morning. I think I will keep up with that one.This morning, my baby finally fell asleep at 4 am. All I could think about was relieving the throbbing and burning pain in my feet. I looked through the appendix that I had printed and located the symptom "Feet, Hot or Pain in" under "1.The Central Connection". I did both of the positions under that title. Not only was the pain gone, but I drifted off to sleep blissfully.I have also noticed a lot more joy and ease in myself since starting to use the healing quicksteps. I am determined to continue using them. Thank you very much, Barbara for sharing these tools so openly and generously with us.

The book itself was great but the printing sucked.The contents were divided into easy to read sections.Make sure you download the appendix, it has indexed information that was left out of the printing.
