After some blunders, buying Himalayan salt in grinders that made it too fine, and buying grinders that had dubious items along with the salt, I saw Sundhed and read reviews that stated it gives a coarse grind and that's just what I was looking for. I see no foreign items in the salt, and the color is good, and the taste is great. I'll never go back to regular table salt or sea salt. As for Sundhed, I will be purchasing this from now on.

I rarely use salt to season food but when I do I want the salt to taste salty. Most grocery store salt is tasteless. So be careful in using this. Just a couple grinds is all you will need to enhance the flavor of food - like watermelon. But I also learned this salt has a dual purpose- it is a great way to kill infections in the mouth. I had been having a difficult time after getting a cut on the soft palate of my mouth. The cut just would not heal for seven months. It became infected and painful. And the infection was spreading to my gums. I needed an antibiotic to kill the infection but I have allergic reactions to antibiotics. I read on line that rinsing my mouth with pink Himalayan salt might solve the problem. And so I began rinsing with the salt three times every day. By day three my wound healed, the infection was gone and so was the pain. It takes some effort to get the crystals to dissolve in hot water but worth taking the time to do it. I consider this salt a miracle cure. I am not a doctor...just a person who had major mouth pain that vanished once I began using this salt as a rinse.

This has the same great natural Himalayan taste as it should and the price i have not been able to find better. It lasts forever. I recommend this.

Salt is fine, but I am disappointed in the grinder. It's difficult to turn with the large chunks of salt. (Or am I weak???) And the container is not reusable- the lid does not come off. I had hoped I could refill it, not throw it in the landfill. Wouldn't buy again.

Great product, I live the taste and you don't have to use very much, a few turns are tasty. Will continue to buy this product.

I added this to distilled water and the water tasted perfectly afterwards. I especially like the twist cap that would allow me to easily select just how much of this to add.

More than happy with the quality of this salt. It is a lot of salt to buy, probably a lifetime for the average person, but the cost savings is worth it.

This was Part of a Gourmet Gift Box for Daughters birthday. I had some other items. Looks sturdy. I believe it was good value.
