Good quality and nice switches
This is now the fourth wireless numpad I have bought and is by far the best. Two of the previous ones were much cheaper at only around £10 each and did what they were supposed to, but I hated the spongy feeling of the membrane keys and found them difficult to input number quickly. The third one I bought was a nicer quality Microsoft one, but used bluetooth which was a hassle as I use the numpad at work and am often on different computers and it needed setting up/pairing each time. This numpad has excellent mechanical switches which feel on a par with Cherry MX brown. I like the fact that it has a physical on /off switch so the battery should hopefully last a long time. The only two minor negatives are 1)num lock key permanently on 2)price - too high considering you can get a full mechanical keyboard for not much more. But then there is little competition so I guess they can charge what they want!

Well made, nice switches, shame about the num-lock LED - Wired MX Brown
I didn't realise that all models were LED backlit so I was surprised when I plugged it in but there are a few modes for changing the lighting so it's not too distracting. As someone else mentioned, the Num-Lock key remains illuminated when engaged even if the lighting is turned off, which is really annoying. It's very bright and remains at full brightness even when turning the other LED's down. I found a simple fix for this - I pulled the key off and painted over the LED! I left the top of the LED slightly translucent so I can still see when it's turned on but it's much dimmer now.Nicely built, feels very solid, Highly recommended.

quick wakeup from sleep mode
I could barely notice any lag when the numpad wakes up from sleep mode. Great!

It is programmable
I use two simple pieces of generic software, Clavier+ & Easyclicks (mouse clicks). In Clavier at first it may seem as though it hasn't registered the key selected as it defaults to NubLock but it has recorded the correct number. Took a bit of getting use to. It works fine other than that.

It's a cheap functional number pad with Gateron browns. I picked it up for 16 pounds and it's pretty clear that they have cut some corners to get it down to that price.Had a number of quality issues straight out of the box:-First thing I noticed was the literal cut corner (chamfered edge) was covered in some pretty noticeable scratches straight out of the box. It's also been cut pretty roughly and you can see the milling marks.-Another thing is that the keycaps haven't been printed properly with the keys in the left corner having bubbles in the black paint that goes over the translucent base.-Also the stabilisers are really bad, mushy and rattle-y.A couple of things I don't like about the layout:-The weird idea to have the function key and then num lock to get the = symbol. This requires some finger gymnastics and is a symbol that I end up using a lot. Maybe putting it on another key like the - key (right beside it) would be better, or even instead of the tab key, and having tab on another layer.-No GBP (£) symbol on the function layer only $€¥, seems a bit weird considering this is sold on Amazon.co.uk.I think I'm going to keep it as it's the cheapest I have seen a number pad with backlighting, and Gateron switches.

Decent keypad WITH functional arrow keys
This is a decent usb external numerical keypad.I had asked a question concerning whether it had usable arrow / cursor before buying it. This question received an incorrect answer ‘no’. In actual fact by turning off the number lock key the relevant arrow keys do indeed control cursor movement. This works fine and was important to me, so I’m glad I ignored the incorrect answer. The lighting is a little cheap looking, the keys being Gateron browns are not terribly refined, but they work fine.Overall you can do worse than this unit-but like so many Amazon IT components is a little overpriced in my view. It’s ok.

Seems Well Built
Ordered this to use for gaming along with my joystick for games* where I don't want to play with keyboard and mouse and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. The build quality feels good and sturdy with an aluminium face in which the keys are mounted, and solid plastic elsewhere. Wide rubber feet mean it doesn't slide around and there's a flip down stand at the rear to give it a steeper angle if you want. There's a nice positive feel from the keys although I have to say the click sound is a little hollow. The back light can be set to on, off, a pulsing 'breathe' effect or so that it will light individual keys when pressed which is a nice touch. The numlock key is always illuminated if numlock is on, dark if not.All in all I'm very pleased. It gives the impression of something that will last.*Elite Dangerous - too many keys for joystick alone :)

Great product, perfect for lefties/laptop users in particular.
Perfect for lefties who want to use the number pad with their left hand, I use this in conjunction with a 60% keyboard for programming work. The switches are Gateron reds which are new to me, I understand that they are supposed to emulate Cherry MX reds. Surprisingly I found these to be even better than Cherry reds, each key press is very smooth with no feedback save for they key hitting the plate it's mounted on. Very satisfying and pleasant to work with, especially for rapid numerical work. The back lighting is decent and can be set even brighter than the picture shows. There are a few effects you can cycle between but in all honesty I never bother with this feature on any of my keyboards. This is completely plug and play and requires no additional downloads to function. The only thing I think is odd, and I mention this in case there are any non-gamers considering buying this for a gamer, is that it is advertised as a gaming keypad. I mean sure in theory you could use it for that, but from my own extensive experience most PC games require more keys and I would never choose to use this over an actual keyboard, even as a leftie.
