weird that tegu is reselling bioblo blocks?
The blocks aren't bad, but they're far from perfect. They are just blocks. They aren't magnetic. They don't stick together. You just stack them to make stuff. You can do some fancy stacking to make fancier things, but my kids build mainly simple things. They are very thin and light. I feel that clunkier blocks are better for little hands. I think that older kids want more variety in their blocks like Legos. I think similar size blocks like Keva are much more sustainable as solid wood blocks. The only thing these really have over solid wood blocks is the colors and the fact that they're washable. The really weird part to me is that these aren't even made in Tegu's Honduras factory. They are made in Croatia. They have the BioBlo logo on the box and they seem to be BioBlo blocks sold by Tegu at a higher price. BioBlo blocks are the brand that sells these honeycomb blocks in Europe. (BioBlo blocks look the same and even have the same product pictures on the boxes!) If Tegu is selling this other company's blocks without them being made at their Honduras factory, it feels like Tegu is sidestepping their whole social responsibility model to slap their name on someone else's product.I think Tegu magnetic blocks are genius. I like Tegu's ideology. I don't get where this product fits in with their ideology. I don't get why this is a good enough product to carry the Tegu name. These blocks look interesting on the box, but my kids have gotten more play out of other blocks.

Not very usable or interesting
Not very usable.....all you can do is stack these and they are all the same size, don't clip together and are not magnetic. Young children can't do anything creative and get bored easily with these.....adults get bored as well. Very expensive for pieces of plastic that don't do anything but stack.

Beautiful building for all ages
Another beautiful product from a great company. We loved the colors, the lightweight feeling and the unique honeycomb design. The kids ranging from toddler to teen were able to build to their ability. They remind me a lot of Keva planks, but colorful, lighter and longer. These will be in heavy rotation at our house for a long time to come. Bonus, the box is well made, easy to open and has a handle to make clean up simple.

Fun but wooden Tegu is better!
Not as much fun as Original magnetic Tegu. The texture is a bit weird and not as satisfying to hold as wood.

Versatile and compelling toy
These blocks are exceptionally well made and offer a huge array of play possibilities and for a large range of ages. They even had the adults jumping in when the kids were sidetracked to do some building, but the toddlers were equally infatuated with them.

Received used item
Received an used item, seal tape were broken. Blocks were not organized when I opened the box. Disappointed.

False advertising
Definitely not magnetic yet all the links i clicked on to research these more all implied that they were. Absolutely never would have spent that kind of money on more wooden blocks that my children already had plenty of

Better for an older child
Not quite what I expected. Not really suitable for a younger child but I can see it could keep an older more creative child busy. Doesn’t really suit my home at this time so will either return or keep rigor when the kids are older.
