I recently purchased these fuses as I like to fix electronics. The pack came with various options and sizes that were extremely handy. My primary use was for my guitar amp and boiler, and they've worked like a charm, keeping my devices running smoothly without any hiccups. These fuses are excellent value as they compare well against other options like Screwfix or B&Q. I like the plastic box as it organises them neatly, much better than a zip-lock bag. However, as good as they are, I would say the size can sometimes be misleading - one or two fuses did fit somewhat snugly but eventually went in just fine. All in all, this hasn’t been a deal breaker for me. I’d recommend these to anyone who dabbles with home electronics or needs a quick, reliable fix for their appliances. Good quality and definitely worth the purchase!

In the UK a 3-pin to 2-pin adapter is often used to provide power to devices using European plug arrangements. The adapter should be fused at 1-amp ( 1A ) and that will provide up to 230 Watts of power which is more than enough for typical accessories. However there are some situations where, at switch-on, a typical fuse will not withstand the inrush current of some devices. This was the case with my 66W phone charger which is clearly within the 1A or 230W capability of the plug, but the inrush or initial surge current was a little more than 1-amp. Fitting a slow-blow fuse fixed the problem and the overall current capacity remains 1A, so it remains safe within its intended usage parameters.
