CLI-42 Pixma Pro-100 Ink Replacement for Canon CLI42 GY CLI-42 LGY Compatible Ink Cartridge Use for Pixma Pro-100 Pro-100s Printers 4 Value Pack (2 Gray, 2 Light Gray)

I've only recently installed these cartridges in my printer and have been extremely pleased. The printer recognized the ink, which is a good start. I didn't pull the sticker off cleanly, so when I removed the plastic tab, a couple of drops of ink spilled, but that was user error. I can't say that I notice any difference in these grey and light grey cartridges and the OEM product. Perhaps, there may be fading over time, but as of now, I'm very pleased, because the difference in price is substantial. I would not hesitate to purchase additional cartridges. If anything changes, I will update my review, but it stands at 5 stars now (given the great value they represent).

Arrived on time. Works as advertised. Fraction of the cost of the manufacturer replacement units.

To my eye the photo prints I make using this more affordable toner are indistinguishable from those I make with the OEM (Canon) toner. I just finished organizing thousands of photos for our family and giving them to our grown children. In the process I printed a couple of thousand photos using this toner and saved several hundred dollars.

Use these as I need to replace cartridges on an individual color basis. Never had a problem with them. Color is fine. I do a lot of prints for people and have no issues.

This is the first time I have used 3rd party ink (LGY) in my Canon Pro 100 printer. That being said, here are my first impressions.... 1. When twisting the cap off two drops of ink came out of the nozzle, one drip hit the carpet. I had to soak up the flowing ink with a lens cleaning tissue before installing. 2. The printer recognized the ink cartridge. 3. The ink monitoring software rated the ink cartridge as 80% full. 4. First few prints looked fine. 5. I know the price is nice, but not sure I'd buy again. Time will tell.
