RECHERE Stainless Steel Push Button Butterfly Deployment Clasp for Leather Watch Band Strap

It's fine, and it works, but here are some thoughts:Good:1.) Pretty nice mirror polishing on all surfaces, and if that is what I was going for it would be great. I've got it on a darker leather band, so I think a brushed surface would look better (this isn't a detriment, it's just not quite right for my application). Nice looking, though.2.) Install was easy, didn't come with instructions but there's only so many moving parts and most watch people know this stuff already. If you're not a watch person, youtube exists.3.) Locks up solid, no play or rattleBad:1.) The retention clips are pretty small and may be fragile. I don't think it would take more torsion to break, so either be gentle or expect to replace it.2.) There's no micro adjustment built in. It's $13, so not too bad, but I don't think it would have added much to the cost to drill four more holes, either. So, it can get a bit pinchy.3.) It doesn't have much vertical adjustment room, so the 4mm thick leather watch band I'm using it with just barely works. Thicker bands would not fit at all.

I added this to my Citizen Avion 22MM band to keep from wearing it out. Well it simply does not work very well. It pops open at least once an hour which gave me into this pseudo-OCD habit of "clicking" the clasp close every few minutes so it doesn't fall open. I've almost lost my watch on numerous occasions and this is why I quit using the poorly made clasp. Note: I also have a Citizen Navihawk & PCAT watches with a butterfly clasps and not once have they ever popped open unintentionally. Question: Would you trust this to keep from losing 100's (1000's?) dollars worth of watch?

Bought for my Samsung Galaxy watch - the larger 46mm size. My initial impressions are that I'm really going to like this clasp but only time will tell. It locks well, feels secure, and the finish looks great. Easy to install - took only a few seconds with the proper tool.My only gripe is the sizing. This watch calls for a 22mm band and the fit on the strap side is perfect but the buckle side is just shy of 23mm according to my calipers. A very small gap indeed, and noticeable to me and the only reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars.If you want a seemingly high quality depoyant (the correct spelling BTW) then this is a nice option.

It appears to be well made for a decent price, but the clasp I just received is defective. The installation was very easy, but not very comfortable being used on my LG Sport W280A smartwatch's large band. The clasp came undone and almost made me drop my expensive smartwatch! It appears the tiny clips are unable to keep the clasp locked!

It appears they have a quality control and poor design problem with this clasp. As I was taking the blue shipping tape off the clasp the parts that hold the mechanism closed simply fell apart. On inspection, the metal plate had been soldered at the corners to hold the sliding buttons on, but the solder joints came loose completely voiding the whole mechanism.Bad QC because of the poor solder joints. Depending on four tiny bits of solder to hold this in place is a poor design.

Changed my rating. The clasp doesn't stay attached on the side where the holes are. At first it does but after time it snaps open. I would not buy again. This is now my 3rd re-write of this clasp. I finally gave up now even a slight tug after you take your watch off causes it to come off the other end of the watch band. I don't recommend this clasp try another brand.

Cons: Product came with no instructions and once assembled (with some difficulty) the deployment clasp wouldn't secure properly. I'm so frustrated it is not even worth my time to return to Amazon to get my $12 back.Pros: None for me; however, I purchased a SWEES magnetic watch band for the GearS3 at the same time and it works great.BOTTOM LINE: This deployment clasp didn't work for me (maybe it was just my clasp or maybe it was just me), but it might work for you as other buyers have attested to in their reviews. If you purchase this product, I hope it works for you.

I've tried a lot of different brands of aftermarket deployment clasps, and this is by far the best. polishing on them are clean, no tooling marks. No sharp edges on any of the pieces that would be towards your skin. Looks great with any watch, and will add extra longevity to any leather straps you own.

An excellent product, I have replaced all of the standard buckles on my watches with these butterfly deployment buckles. I find them to be safe, secure and dependable. They enhance your watch giving it the look of something much more expensive. Would recommend highly.

have several of these for different watches -- ideal ---- since some buckles are to big these deployment clasps are better in my opinion

Works nicely with the rubber strap on my watch (also works with a leather watch strap) however be prepared to wait around 2-3 weeks for shipping from Asia. I am still giving the product 5 stars as it is durable and was worth the wait

These transformed the feel of the watch completely. Easy to fit. And the watch sits better around my wrist. Very pleased so far. Let's hope the springs and the mechanism are of good quality.
