Doctor Who: Official Guide on How to be a Time Lord

This is a FUN book. It is definitely aimed toward the younger audience, but that doesn't mean that adults can't enjoy it. I read all the way through it then sent it to a friend to enjoy as well. Those well-acquainted with Doctor Who or who have other Who-related reference books probably have no need of this and will likely find it a bit simplistic. But it contains lots of "notes" from the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) and definitely has the feel of his personality, so it's a fun romp.

With my goal of eventually becoming a Time Lord, i bought this book as a reference. It has given me everything I need to know and I will soon achieve success! Do not worry, I am not planning on being the Master... I just want to travel through time and regenerate.

Best Whovian gift I have ever found for my husband on father's day. Gave it to him the minute it arrived. Made him so happy he almost cried. Pictures are so bright and vivid. Information in it is just incredible. The book itself became his TARDIS as my husband was transported through time and space with the wonderful notes on how to be a time lord.

I bought this as a present for my mom, thinking it would be more of a reading style book than a picture book. It’s fun, and I am sure she will still enjoy it, however nowhere in the description does it say it’s a children’s book, but it says it right on the inside cover when you look inside the book. If you want a cute side gift, this is fine. But it certainly isn’t what you’re expecting.

I have been a big fan of Dr. Who for many years. I use to go to the Dr. Who conventions in Chicago. This book was a enjoyable addition to my knowledge of the Doctor. I would recommend it to Dr. Who fans.

Bought this book as a gift for my husband as it looked interesting and he loves dr who. Opened it to find that there wasn't really a ton of information, and most of the quotes, font and photos are geared towards kids. It's the kind of book I would probably see at my kids scholastic book fare at school.

I've read the book ans it written in such way that I could believe that Matt smaith's Doctor actually did write it.

This book was really good. Full of great memories from the show and includes lots of colour and pictures. Great for any doctor who fan however it may be a bit childish for a teenager or an adult due to the nature of the writing in it. All of it is very fun and informative though and it is all well presented as a scrapbook which includes little notes and doodles from the doctor and many photos. really really great book. i really recommend this from 6 year olds to 13 years olds and anyone older than that be aware that it is more for children although still very great for a doctor who fan. i am 15 and liked it. I actually brought this for a gift and the person i gave it to was happy with it.

My son originally borrowed the book from his local library and loved it therefore Ibought him his own copy. Vibrant colourful pictures, visually presented and informative. A great buy and a bargain for budding Dr Whos.

This is not what i expected when i bought it - although that said ,it's still a lot of fun.Basically it's a manual written from the eleventh Doctor to the twelve Doctor on all things Who.More one for the kids than the grown ups but fun all the same.

This is a fun book full of quirky information for the Whovian in your life. I think it is aimed at younger viewers - and has comments from Matt Smith's Dr, but I found it fun and engaging and I am a little older than that :)
