Personalized distressed leather hobonichi techo cover vintage rustic leather hobonichi A5 A6 cousin cover HAX05S

This is the most impressive gift I have bought for myself! It is extremely well made and my Hobonichi Techo fits in it perfectly and it lies nice and flat when needed for writing and is also much thinner than the plastic cover which is made for these particular journals as well. I absolutely adore it and the color is lovely and natural. It will distress as time passes but that is not a bad thing as it is a natural material. I did not get the pen case as I thought it would be bulky when writing and also I use a fountain pen. I am going to try and figure something out if I find the need to have a pen holder. Also I do like the 2 ribbon book marks in my old plastic Hobonichi journal cover and so I am going to create them for this new leather journal with ribbon or even cut off the old ones and glue them to the back spine of the Journal. Perhaps this is something the company could offer in the future but other than personalizing this cover myself I think it is a fantastic purchase and I will be buying more for my daughters who got me into writing in a Hobonichi Journal!! Don't hesitate to buy this, also I am writing this simply because I know this is a small individual company and they deserve to be recognized for good work, I have nothing to gain from writing a good review!

Arrived on the early side within the estimated shipping window. Just got here, and first thing I'm doing after slipping a Stalogy A6 notebook into the cover and a Platinum Preppy pen into the penholder is to make this review.The leather quality and craftsmanship are excellent. The engraving is nice. I might try a different font for variety if I order again, which I might being that the price is right.The company aims for a retro style, and the paper packaging tied with cord gave the transaction a feel of buying something at a fair.I had high expectations for this product -- and the cover and penholder exceeded them.So, I welcome them into my life and expect they'll be accompanying me for quite awhile, as I like to carry a journal around with me to organize and keep track of my obligations.[Edit: I wanted to add some additional remarks about the pen sleeve. It's my understanding the seller can customize it. But the default size, which is what I ordered, holds a Platinum Preppy pen snugly. I took a picture, but am having difficulty uploading it, so I can't show how nice the fit is. I also will have to be satisfied with just describing how I manage to use the pen sleeve to actually hold three pens.Most of the writing in the journal I mentioned above is with the Platinum Preppy, a fountain pen.To draw attention to some things I write in the journal, I started using Pilot gel ink pens with ink colors different than that of the Platinum Preppy.The Pilot pens clip neatly on the OUTSIDE of the pen sleeve, with very little play. For all practical purposes they are as secure in that position as the Platinum Preppy which sits INSIDE the pen sleeve.The overall effect is like a rocket (the Platinum), with two booster rockets (the Pilots), one on either side.

Absolutely beautiful! I am so happy with the leather cover. It is a slightly different texture than what I was expecting, but it is so nice! I asked if it was possible to add a hole in the spine so I could add an elastic band. Not only did they accommodate the request, but the seller even added an elastic closure for me, which was so kind!

Very nicely made leather product, but here's my one caveat. I bought an A6 sized Hobonichi planner and it does not fit with this leather cover. I still found another use for it, but if you like that style of planner, you need something different.

Beautiful, sturdy cover. It looks and feels well made and fits my stalogy a6 perfectly. Very impressed. I'd recommend it.
