Note: Does not operate TV functions
I purchased this to a replace the original AV remote which had failing sections of buttons. I picked this remote because it looked like it had all of the buttons of the original, including TV control. On arrival I discovered that it would not enable the program mode to enter TV codes like the OEM allowed. I contacted seller who confirmed that the remote controlled the receiver only and would not control TVs (despite having those buttons)

Remote isn't for Onkyo TX-NR809 or 1009
Seller says this remote is for the receivers listed above. After sending feedback they sent me a Onkyo manual for a TX-NR1007 which is an older receivers with a remote with less buttons. The remote can do most functions but isn't a 1 for 1 replacement.

Does not match
Works fine but does not match 100% my receiver - on / off does not work e.g.

appearances are deceiving
Would not recommend. No instructions on programing. Online searches give numerous results without any help. Too bad. Obviously the remote must have some competency. Just electronically not for naïve customers like myself.
