Dr. MartensWomen's Flora Fashion Boot

Sadly, I have *never* received anything free to review. I have sorta wide feet but don't buy wide width shoes, I just tend to buy wide *style* shoes. Although I wear a 6.5 womens in Vans & Converse, I wear a 7 in Nike, in Adidas, and in 99% of the sandals I buy. I typically choose my sizes based on reviews, but did not size down on these because a) I have relatively small feet and wasn't looking to minimize them, and b) the almond toe style means my foot would have likely been uncomfortable on my sorta wide feet. So although the shoe LOOKS "somewhat large" (like Uggs look big), it "fit as expected" for me.

This is my first pair of Dr. Martens boots and after 16 months of ownership, I'm still impressed by the style, durability, and comfort of these boots. The Flora has a thinner version of the classic Dr. Martens sole which makes the shoe look a bit more formal. In addition, the almond toe of these boots offset the wider footbed typical of Docs and keeps them looking neat even in smaller sizes (I wear a US 6.5 / EU 37 and purchased a UK 4). The Flora looks great with jeans, leggings, or skirts and the burgundy is super versatile while still being fun.These boots have plenty of width in the toe-box and did not require any break-in period. The heel does slip when walking, but not so much as to be either uncomfortable or sloppy. I wear these shoes almost daily (except in summer months) and walk about 4 miles a day in them. The sole has been shockingly resilient to this abuse and has toughed out salty sidewalks, snow, and rain with only a little loss of tread at the heel. The elastic panels have held up perfectly and retain the same stretch and recovery as when I purchased them. Wear is mostly evident in the color of the leather, which has burnished over time – particularly where I scuff my heels when walking. I quite like the way they've weathered, but it does make the boots more casual looking.After 16 months with no maintenance care, the boots have developed a small crack where my toes bend. I suspect this is due to the salty sidewalks I mentioned above, especially as the boots have been of great quality otherwise. I will be buying another pair of Floras once these really wear out and will be sure to put some mink oil on them at regular intervals.

I love the look of the boots but unfortunately I'm not able to get a size that fits me properly. I usually wear a size 9 but the size 9 is huge on me so I ordered the size 8 and those are so much smaller. I just wish they made half sizes because this is ridiculous.

I love Dr. Martens. But these boots came in an unmarked cardboard box with no logo or trademark Dr. Martens branding on it. There was no quality control sticker on the inside of my boots, either. I am hesitant to keep them because I believe they are fakes. I will likely end up returning them. Overall it is sketchy that I have received a product not in the original packaging, although it was advertised as a genuine pair of Dr. Martens boots. Lastly, the fabric part on the right shoe is stretched out already, even though I have not even tried it on. Disappointed. Pictures are attached.

Genuine Docs. They came in original packaging and were pristine. But for all of you looking for vegan floras these are not it my friends. If the floras have a black tab they are indeed leather if the tab has yellow lettering on these boots they are vegan. Check out the dr martens site to see what I mean. Also for most of you confused about the sizing. They don’t run half sizes so if your a true half size like me it can be tough finding the right fit. I’m a true 9.5 us women’s and since I’ve owned docs before I know the 10 is way too big on me so I ordered a 9 or UK 7 and they fit great. However of you have wider feet or you like to wear chunky socks with your docs then a 10 would’ve worked or whatever your up half size equivalent is. Hope this clears some stuff up.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Classic style Chelsea boot with the durability of being a DM . These are quite hard/stiff when you put them in but I guess (hope) they soften over time. The reason I have given them a 4* is because although they are leather, there is a “plastic” look to them.They’ll be a wardrobe staple as can be worn as a working, walking or fashion boot

Nice enough, but doesn't have a full insole lining, there's only half there, so the boots are not warm as there's just this cardboard stuff halfway in. Also, the sole is quite thin, so again they won't keep feet warm. Made a good saving, but had I known about these cons I would not have bought them.

Fit as expected if you get the next size down of your size. I'm a size 6 and a size 5 fit perfect which is the norm with Dr Martens.Slimmer sole but still look great and the classic DM look. Fantastic color and not so harsh on the feet. I Def can feel that they need a little breaking in,but wont be as harsh and painful as the classic boots.Dress them up or dress them down these are awesome boots.

I've been looking at getting a pair of these for some time and as they were on offer I thought that it was about time I got them. I had tried them in store and knew that a size 5 would fit me, even though I am usually a size 6 in Nike's and a 7 in Adidas so you may wish to go down a size. The look great and have a good reputation buy they are a bit stiff to begin with and will hopefully soften over time. I'm looking forward to wearing them for some years

Their very roomy at my toes, they make my feet look like boats and they rub , i thought by now my feet would mould into them break them in but their just the same as when i bought shame cos the colour is stunning i payed a lot of money for something i dont wear much because they make my big feet look even bigger
