KangolWool 507 - Black/S

I have a number of Kangol hats, mostly the lighter weight ones. This one is very well made and is a perfect fit for my head (i have a large head). The fabric is very heavy duty and looks like it will wear well.

Great hat! I receive many compliments on it, and I feel the style is much more sleek compared to the classic 504. Be aware that this hat runs big. I am on the border between large and extra large and I ended up with a medium (which is slightly more tight than I'd like, but is closer to a perfect fit than the large). I recommend buying a size smaller than what you would take on the size chart. Thanks to Amazon's free returns policy for this item, I figured out my proper size and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Bought my husband a Kangol a few year back. He liked it, but it’s a bit large on him.Recently he’s been trying on some “no name” hats of a similar style but they didn’t fit correctly (awkward) & just looked cheap. Sooo...I went down a couple sizes & ordered this for him for Christmas.Boom! Fits perfect & looks fantastic. The shape, color, and material of a Kangol are worth paying a bit more, we’re both happy!

The price level on these is low with a comparatively high quality product. My only dislike is the Kangol logo being so obvious, but I understand the need for branding. To their credit, the Kangol logo on this hat is in a smoky grey color that blends in well with the hat color and it does not jump out as much as it would if there was a white logo or another more jarring color.Very satisfied with this. I want a Brunello Cucinelli grey flat cap, but that is over $400. If I do get a Cucinelli, I can certainly wear this hat as a beater and get a very similar style.

My friend loved this as a gift. He said it kept his head warm in the cold and it was very comfortable.

Winter late fall version of the 507 tropic. I have a small head. Hats are always too bit and too wide. Not the kangol 507 line. I have the 507 tropic, zig, wool, jacquard, hounds stripe. All expect the zig fit the same, wit he zig being much smaller.This wool hat in black is beautiful, dark rich black. Holds shape very well. Doesn't pile or shed fibers. Good quality.If you like the 507 tropic and want a winter hat, get this in a dark color to match your jacket. Looks great.

I've just become a fan of Kangol hats! I got a black bamboo style a few weeks ago from another supplier and it's way too large even though I ordered my usual size. I had to alter the stretchy inner band. Not so with this one. It fits perfectly, so well the I ordered a navy blue one to be able to switch. The wife AND my son ( the fashion critic ) both think I look good, so there.

This is just the king of flat caps. They fit well and keep your head warm without making you like like an old farmer. I really like the material and hunter green colour. I have had a number of these and I would buy another tomorrow.
