PropperTactical Duty Belt
D**.
A perfect work or airport belt.
The quality is great. I work at a nuclear power station, so we have x-ray machines and metal detectors we have to go through everyday. I can wear it right through no problem. It is tough without being thick. It is wide enough without being too big to fit through typical belt loops. I wouldn't wear it with a suit, but for business casual it fits in just fine. After a few weeks I have seen no wear or fraying.

These are cheap but great for around the house and yard work
These are cheap but great for around the house and yard work. Had one buckle break on an older belt that this one replaced, but for less than $10, they're more than adequate.

Great belt.
Works great, and functions to milspec standards.

Very close to military issue.
Feels long for size (44-46), but it is of great reliability.

Price commensurate with product
I've owned several 5.11 Tactical 1.5" BDU belts for (9) years and have come to really like them. I like that they're strong, non-metallic, infinitely adjustable, and they stay put. I misplaced a belt and while I was looking to reorder I came across this Propper belt at about half the price, so I decided to give it a try. The Propper belt is significantly less thick and significantly more rigid and inflexible, which translates to less comfortable. The buckle on the Propper belt appears less robust than the 5.11 version (not to mention the complaints in the reviews about the buckle cracking). Given this Propper belt is half the price of the 5.11 belt, I'd say it's a toss-up and depends on whether your priority is price or comfort and quality. I'll probably go back to the 5.11 next time.
