Novita Technologies 550 Flasher

It works.

Worked well to replace the one in my fathers dune buggy. However, mine came with an internal flaw that I had to fix. The contact for the dash light was bent clear backwards so it would not allow electrical current to flow. But that was a 15 minute fix to take it apart and rebend it. now it works great.

This took care of my turn signal problem on my 1964 TR4

Was advertised as fitting a 1964 Triumph Spitfire, it does not. The spades are slightly wider apart than the original and must be bent inward to fit the socket. The second problem is that with this unit installed the indicator light on the instrument panel remains lit all the time even when the indicator switch is not engaged. Maybe a quality part but useless for the application it was purchased for.

Was suppose to be an exact replacement for the flasher in my sunbeam tiger, but the pins were slightly offset and had to be bent to fit in socket. With the pins "slightly" bent, it did fit in the flasher socket but didn't seat completely (might fall out). With the turn signal switch engaged the flasher operated as it should but with the turn signal switch disengaged the dashboard turn signal light remained on, leading me to believe it isn't an exact replacement or the wiring on the car isn't correct.
