RANGETIME Targets- Laser Cut AR500 Steel Gong 12" X 20" X 3/8" Silhouette Shooting Target- Rifle Target

I just had my 5th torso target from ar500 target solutions delivered. Shipping has been fast every time and the targets have been great. At 100 yards they have held up pretty well to 308, 5.56, and 5.45x39. At close ranges they don't show anything besides chipped paint with pistol calibers and 22lr. They do show some small divots when shooting at 100 yards with rounds like m855 and 7n6, so I would suggest getting a separate target for close-in pistol shooting. Divots are supposed to increase the chance of fragments coming back at you. At 100 yards I'm not worried about it. I'm happy with the product, price, and shipping.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this for my husband and woah...This is NOT light, it is one serious piece of metal which I AM IN LOVE WITH!!!I was shocked at the weight, maybe it's because I am not a gun person like he is, but as a woman, I was shocked. This is NOT a cheap piece of metal, it is amazing. He is going to LOVE it, and I am so happy that the target is so well made.Not only is it exactly what he wanted, but for me it's an added bonus because I don't have to hear him in the garage trying to make something to target practice with anymore!!! Seller is super responsive to what was probably deemed as absurd questions, but also didn't make me feel like an idiot for asking, so that alone is worth 5 stars. If I could give this more than 5 stars, i totally would.

This thing holds up great. First off its great size. Perfect center mass area for average torso. Shot over a hundred pistol rounds at it, (9mm, 40 cal, 45 cal, and 357) as close as 15 ft which may not be safe from flying rounds, but no dents what so ever. Then used an AR 15 with .556. Now they recommend at least 100 yrds but I tested it from about 30 to 40 ft. No holes but it did leave a tiny little chip in the metal so don't do that to often. We backed up to at least 40 yards and it seemed fine. No more chips were found after about 60 more rounds of 556 although over time, shooting that close may shorten the life of the target but I didn't see any more damage once we backed up. Definitely rcomend this target.

This is a great target. I have it at like 15 yards at my range for those aggravating times when I just can't seem to hit the 4 inch gongs at 8 yards. Unload on this guy. Never shot .223 at this but slugs, buckshot, 9 mil, 45, 357 and 300 blackout don't phase it even that close (shooting rifles that close is definitely not recommended due to ricochet - but never had a problem).Using this on a tpost and tpost adapter. Went out to the camp with the same hardware for a different target and realized it didn't have a center hole so that wasn't quite as easy (in other words the center hole option is nice for mounting).It's somewhat satisfying to shoot a 3'' slug at it and watch it nearly knock the post out of the ground. No divets. Just shoot.. repaint.. profit.Even had it sitting out in the sun/weeds for like a year and half before I got it up. No rust. No nothing. Good quality. Seems like there equally sized targets for less money though. Although I can't speak to their quality.regardless - I can't image you would be disappointed with this.

Love these targets. I already had the needed hardware to install this on my small range. As I expected with this being advertised as AR500, 3/8" thick, it is and holds up extremely well with what I shoot at it....223/5.56, .308, 450 Bushmaster, 50 Beowulf and several pistol rounds. The only rounds I have found gets some good penetration is when I'm shooting a .223 Wylde or a 50 Beowulf ( a heck of a caliber to shoot BTW) at fairly close range, like 30 yards or so. Just a great target.

Excellent product, I'm extremely impressed. Takes pistol calibers with ease at any distance. In regards to .223, a 75g hp at 20 yards will leave minor dimples in the steel, anything past 40 yards leaves zero dimples. A 55g fmj will dimple well at anything less than 100 yards though. The report from the steel is incredibly loud and at 400 yards the steel is surprisingly loud, even with ear pro. Definitely worth every penny.

Great target! Strong and durable. Be aware though, this target DOES NOT FIT the CMP Steel Challenge Cap from the kit. Custom grinding must be done to the hook for this target to fit. I chose to combine the CMP Base with the CTS Topper with AR500 Target Plate Hook and it works great without the need to grind. Have 2 sets, one for the silhouette target and the other for the circle 12 inch target. Setup is done in minutes and just add the 2x4 of choice. Enjoy your shooting!

The target is very good quality. The paint job is almost too good to mess up!I bought the hardware at Lowes for just over $13 and set up per my photos. In the field the chains are vertical to avoid target rotation.Leaflet says to shoot pistols from 12 yds min and 150 yds (website states 100 yds) for rifles. Great audio feedback, missing from paper targets and you can see the star pattern from the sprayed lead very easily.9mm at 15 yds resulted in no surface damage that showed after spraying with white paint after a shooting session, but the bullets were flat as pancakes!Not disappointed with this product at all.
