For English readers who would like access to al-Razi, this is currently the only translation of Kitab al-Sirar. There are some academic issues with the text, not least of which is the fact that it's self-published, and that the translation was done from a German translation of the Arabic. But overall it's a thorough piece of scholarship and reflects a great deal of rigorous study.

I have always been interested in both history and science. This book combines both. It is well written and will be entertaining and a good read for all people who share those interests or just like to learn about interesting times and where things we take for granted come from.

The delivery was quite fast, but the cover of the book came, as the pictures show, with some flaws to it. Aside from that the book is in good shape.
